  • Difficult to follow, save your money

    By Middle age mom
There are no instructions. I spend a lot of time trying to figure out what they are getting at with the pictures rather than working on language skills. This may have been the best possible a decade ago, but it is really clunky. I get much more language instruction from the free level of Duolingo. The program often stalls, the voice recognition is awful. I was having a lot of trouble so I had a native Spanish speaker try, it kept saying she was wrong repeating phrases. I really wish I has not paid for this, the free lessons are much better than the actual lessons, you are warned. They asked me to contact them inside the app, so I did but that was a complete waste. They just act like they are going to respond, no actual response.

This is an intuitive way of learning a language. I am progressing through this program much more quickly than I did in University classes. My only wish would be that it could somehow explain grammar rules some times. The app is mostly good, but it occasionally takes time to load my progress and sometimes crashes.

  • Just wondering

    By hazeEdaze
If I pay for the lifetime of 200 is that just one language or can I take on multiple? And does lifetime end at any point because I have had apps do that previously.
  • I love this app

  • Spent $$$ on Software, App Want + $$$

    By Nola Clare
Paid hundreds of dollars for the language learning system only to be tied down to my desktop. Thought this app was the solution to learning on-the-go! I was wrong; this app only works if you pay additional to upgrade or if you are within the initial registration period. Why can't we utilize our investment on-the-go for people with busy schedules? I’ve been using Duolingo. It's free and you can use it on your desktop OR your iPhone/iPad.
