  • Audio Quality

    By Alleviatixn
I’m a amateur music artist and I know this is mobile but recording my audio just isn’t the same as FL 12 or other programs via PC but I’d appreciate if you could improve that :) thanks!

  • Great update, but there’s a couple issues.

    By Minecraft_Extra_
After updating to the most recent version, the Audio Clips don’t have the reverse setting anymore. I tried checking if it was moved or replaced but couldn’t find anything. All my Audio clip tracks that were reversed either don’t have sound anymore or are unreversed, which messed up a lot of my projects. My only other nitpick would be that drum sequencers still don’t allow notes to be placed on 1/8 beat marks. A setting to swap between 1/4 & 1/8 drum sequencers would be extremely useful and much appreciated. Aside from that, this update is great and I love the new UI changes that were made. Still by far the best DAW on the App Store.

I was looking for an application that was more professionally oriented than Garage Band in terms of handing MIDI files. I should have searched more throughly before wasting my money on this app. Worthless for any real pro application as I cannot use the piano samples in my $4k Kurzweil Forte to playback my recorded track.
  • Decent stand alone, completely fail w 3rd party apps

    By Strizbiz
I think if I just used this a stand alone, it would shine and I would get a lot done, but my workflow includes many other 3rd party apps, and when it comes to 3rd party integration, it fails miserably. It’s as if the developer doesn’t have a clue how to develop for Audiobus or iaa integration, especially in a way that doesn’t get in the way of the creative flow. Most , if not almost all the time, a crash happens. I would suggest that if you’re fine with doing everything with the built in instruments, go for it, but if you have 3rd party apps you want to use, don’t waste your money. Also, I believe the future of iOS production is headed for, if not there already, audio units, and image line apparently does not have the vision to see that at the moment. I would not purchase this app at all today because I don’t use apps that don’t support audio units and the only reason I have it is because I bought it before au’s came to the iOS platform. Image line should scrap all the ab and iaa integration, as it has been poorly implemented, and figure out how to add auv3 support, or if it can’t figure it out, just don’t bother with 3rd party support until they get someone on board who can.
  • Really solid app

    By Gav Hern
For being under $15, you’re getting a lot for your money. Comparing this to FL studio for pc, there are a lot of features that are an up charge on pc that your getting free with this app. The one thing you’re missing are plugins. I totally recommend this to absolutely anyone interested in music creation. It’s a great app for your arsenal.
  • Works well

    By Reeseman420
For a mobile app, pretty good. I would never only this app, but it’s good for sound design, mastering, and other things Auxy Studio can’t do as well.
  • Have to re-buy modules?

    By Fukyaface
I’ve bought everything besides the transistor bass module. Now it is saying since update today I have to re-buy modules? I don’t think so. I’m gonna find the right emails and bug the hell out of someone till this gets fixed. I’m not purchasing the same thing twice.
  • Great app, but needs one thing more

    By Jake Stud24
I love the app, workflow is weird but I dig it. Only thing this app could use is a cloud feature so I can use my sign in that I used to register FL on my PC and listen to project files on the go. If that is implemented this app blows away any competition. I know it’s not an easy thing to build but so many people would return to FL if they had this feature.
  • The power of a complex studio in your hands........almost.

    By DJ-RealDyl
FL Mobile is pretty much THE most powerful mobile music production software to ever hit the scene. It puts GarageBand to shame (In most ways, the UI could be a smidgen better..) and knocks any other possible contenders out of the water. However their are some small problems hindering the Apps complete success... Preset Creation: you can create your own presets......sort of. You can only save the Synth itself as a preset. Not including any added on effects you tune and automate. If we could save presets including all added effects and possible automations (and then still be tweakable when loading the preset) it would BOOST FL Mobiles value exceptionally. FX: Image Line gives you a handful of FX to use but they don’t really go into depth on how each FX works and can do. Also I desperately need MORE. The more FX the better but to be fair you are given the popular and most necessary. Plugins: SERUM SERUM SERUM! We need plug ins like Serum, Harmor, Massive, or we need mobile versions of themselves exactly. There’s a big void with quality when we’re having to use more samples than Synth. I want raw improvised sounds. And we know FL Mobile can handle it! We just need the support Devs. Genre: This is a big one, FL Mobile is a bit hard to use in making certain genres. And these genres are the ones I create the most with unfortunately. The biggest one is Dubstep/EDM. More EDM features/Compatibility/Synths/Sounds/etc, And I’d be 100% pleased with this App. So, In closing, YES FL MOBILE IS WORTH THE PRICE, and yes I love it! However it still needs some fleshing out and if anyone can do it, it’s Image Line! Developers please see this.
