The Ledger - Lakeland, Florida App Reviews

  • App is useless after last update.

    By Todd the Bod58
Every time I attempt to use this app, it loads then freezes. Cannot navigate to any stories.
  • Terrible app - don’t waste your time

    By lakelandr
Most annoying: Randomly updates while scrolling through headlines, loosing my place. Same stories appear two or three times. Slow load times. Often stalling and turning non responsive. Restart app and will usually load. No local news section I tell you what, whoever developed this app needs to get a clue.
  • It’s a local newspaper app without local news

    By Scarnevale
The new update, and the last several tbh, have made this app useless to me. I go to the ledger for LOCAL news. I got to the national news for NATIONAL news. Tell me about our community. I don’t go to the ledger to hear about riots in Europe. I want to know about the house fire around the corner, the community fair in Bartow, the farmers markets around our community. Make local news your focus and I would love this app. As of now? I will probably delete it. Sad way to go out...
  • Opinions biased

    By whpolk47
Very liberal biased opinions. Dropped the paper copy and tried the application after 2 plus years no different.
  • Great reporting

    By Bob Nickell
The Ledger has a good stable of aggressive and objective reporters. They, alone, deserve five stars. However, the Opinion Director drags the paper down to a three. His editorials are biased and contain many factual inaccuracies.
  • Excellent app

Great hometown newspaper app; easily navigated. Really enjoy Gary White articles and insights.
  • A+

    By Blueline007
The best newspaper app for lakeland by far.

Overall good but would be nice if online carried all stories of print since print comes so late I cannot read it except weekends.
  • Love the new The Ledger Ap

    By Niknaklen
Born and raised in Lakeland and still have family there. The new Ap allows me to keep up with the news in my hometown. I also like that you are publishing the obits now. Thank You Ledger - you are the best! Update: Ledger will always be #1 with me, but get rid of Legacy - it does nothing but crash on my iPad.and I don't like the way it works - I want to see the obits - not have to tell them I want to see them and then it crashes.
