  • Awful Proprietary nonsense in a Restricted Ecosystem

This software is, to put it frankly, too user friendly for its own good. It’s impossible to find anything beyond the most basic of functions, even if more advanced things might be hiding SOMEwhere. There’s enough included content to be flashy and polished, but none of it is anywhere near as genuinely useful as Vegas’ presets and effects. The very worst thing is Apple’s behavior as a company. They STILL use .mov, which is an awful, outdated, restrictive format. Apple gets their greedy liscensing mitts onto any software that wants to be able to interpret this proprietary format that they force their overinflated consumer base to use, which is why I have to edit this .mov footage I’ve got in IMOVIE of all decripit places. I even had to make an apple ID to do so, making for another gleeful kick in the face from good old corporate America.
