  • Airbnb is great!

Airbnb has been so helpful for our travels and also to help us with renting our property and making sure that everything works smoothly. I highly recommend Airbnb for your traveling options and renting your property.
  • Cancelation problematical

    By healthcare travelee
I have had the worst time reserving a place which got automatically canceled by the computer since the holes took more than 24 hours to reply, And I didn't catch it for 48 hours. I try to rebook but the calendar was marked and the company said it was the host that canceled but the holes deny that.So twice this happened and for two nights I've been left trying to figure out where I'm going to stay.
  • Awful Customer Service

    By nomoreads2019
The concept of this app is fantastic but i have not had a worse customer service experience than calling air bnb. they did nothing for me and kept big talking like they would the whole time. i’ll be sticking to hotels from now own.
  • Colosseum Forum Hill Tour w Alfredo

    By Seema George
Our family just did this July tour and Alfredo was the the best. Gave clear directions on where to meet and made this excursion fun and informative. My two teenagers ages 17 and 13 learned a lot and we were all very impressed with his grasp of the culture and history of Rome. Highly recommend.
  • Horrible customer service.

    By NahidAhmed92
Airbnb policy and customer service is just ridiculous. Never booking with them again. First time booking through my own account and I had the worst experience. I lost my money because the hosts place was unsanitary. How does that make it my fault. Ridiculous.
  • Hidden gem in Bed-Stuy Brooklyn

    By TootieDaCutie
First, let me begin by saying that Mrs. Linda is a very friendly, sweet and attentive SUPERHOST! If I could give her place and service a 10-Star review I definitely would! We just had a wonderful 10 day stay in her rental and this was our FIRST AirBnb experience. We arrived late and for some reason we struggled to get the front door lock opened (we failed to turn the key ALL the way to the left). I gave Norga a call and immediately Linda came down to let us in (buy this time we had finally figured the lock out and was actually in the hallway as Linda was coming down. She gave us a warm greeting (I gave her a hug because she felt like family -Like a aunt). The front door of the flat leads you directly into the kitchen area. The kitchen was picture perfect and I noticed a large bowl of fresh fruit sitting beside the sink. She showed us around the flat and where everything is located. She has a note pad above the fireplace mantal that has her and Norga's phone number along with a couple of taxi cab companies that offer reasonable priced trips ($54)to JFK airport. After showing us the home she asked if we needed anything, and told us know that if we need anything she is just a phone call away. Now for the good part... The place was IMMACULATELY clean-Picture perfect! The fridge was stocked with about 10 bottles of water, a carton of eggs, deli meat, bagels, 2 large bottles of juice and condiments. The linen closet is stock piled with towels and sheets. The bathroom was stocked with shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste, lotion, mosquito repellent,Calamine lotion, and a few other things that I can't remember. The a/c unit works perfectly and the bed..,The bed is ultra comfy. When we ran out of water Mrs. Linda immediately replenished the refrigerator with more. I appreciated the manner in which she checked in on us practically everyday to see if we were in need of anything. We would always share a nice conversation and a few laughs during this time. The Brownstone is on a quiet (yet busy with autos passing by during the daytime hours) street. There are plenty of food options (especially Caribbean cuisine) nearby. El Macon was one of my favorite Dominican restaurants (located 2 blocks from Linda's place). Getting around is easy because the A&C lines are only 3 blocks away (the A train offers express service to Manhattan). Both Nostrand and Fulton street is where all of the retail shops, markets, and restaurants, bars are located. It is a vibrant neighborhood! 2 Bodegas (one of which stays open 24 hrs) are located at the corner. You can get hot and cold sandwhiches, chicken over rice, hamburger and fries etc.

  • Best way to travel!

We have been using Airbnb since the beginning (nearly 50 rentals)and have LOVED how it has allowed us to travel and stay in places as if we lived there. We have met wonderful hosts and been given great local tips by some of them. As foodies, we also love renting places with kitchens which allow us to visit local markets, enjoy local food and cook our own. We also own properties that we rent out and Airbnb is a very user friendly platform. We love the review system which rates both hosts and guests. Wish we could do the same for restaurants! Thank you Airbnb for creating “homes away from home”

Terrible service, listing was in accurate. Host didn’t list there was no parking. Expect to find parking outside which there was none in the area. Airbnb is still going to charge me, when I didn’t use their service. I have filed a dispute with my bank. No customer service, it’ll be my time using Airbnb. Anyone who is having problems with Airbnb file a dispute with your bank. Airbnb block my account, so I can’t retrieve that guys illegal listing.
  • App changes pricing, ridiculous fees and misleading pricing with every click

    By Purplbutrfli
3rd party apps are allowed to change pricing. “It’s automated and no one has control” During booking, my app stalled for hours and magically I was charged 68 dollars more for my 2nd night and found out that a third party system changes the rates. No one can/ will help you if you catch it. My rental was not on a weekend surge it was definitely changed and you don’t catch it because they “average nights” making it look better than it really is. The displayed calendar rate history in a year didn’t price jump as much as it did me on that booking. I have picture after picture trying to book a rental when it says something different on every page. Moments later, it states a different price. Also, be honest about the cost. $70 a night with $200 worth of cleaning and fees isn’t $70 a night. Loved air bnb for so long. But You might as well get a hotel and be able to talk to the front desk about issues because “no one at air bnb can support you when “allowed technology rips you off and they can’t see or change it or have record of it. Rate changes aren’t recorded and monitored by airbnb? Highly unlikely. This is too much hiding behind tech and not doing right by your customers. What was once an amazing experience and cost effective is now an automated, impersonal rip off.” Then.... I also paid $130 for an “airstream” that wasn’t an air stream at all. Where are all the reviews that state the listing was a complete lie. Gone. Not one person in a year even mentioned it in the reviews? That’s super weird too. Super disappointed. Take screen shots!
