CNBC: Breaking Business News App Reviews

  • Good stats, many dumb articles by authors w/no investment experience.

    By Mr Perfectionist
First and foremost realize that CNBC is a cheerleader for the stock market...period. They regularly parade guests that sell their "book". Meaning whatever product, service they are into is given a platform to sell to unknowing viewers that think they are watching unbiased financial news....not so. Beware the channel is filled with pitchmen for investment houses that need the public to be positive on and constantly put their money in stocks...otherwise they are all gone...duh ..!! Check out their supposedly “expert” authors are almost all 20 something year old hipsters with Zero real world experience and typically with a Progressive Liberal Socialist bias that varies from blatant to covert. John Harwood is their political go to expert that was busted during the Clinton/Trump election for feeding questions to be used on the debates ahead of time to the Clinton Camp ...haha, what a joke. Every single article he posts is a hatchet job on Trump...every one ...pitiful. Some on screen prople are good, some are terrible. The article writers are as a whole pretty poor ....sophomoric articles ...check out each authors Twitter feed so see who your dealing with ....

  • Apple stock app won’t work

    By Pete102649
My Apple stock app stopped working so I looked for another stick app and found this one. It works great.
  • Updated news when it happens

    By mombdp
I am impressed with the news stories available to me in a timely fashion. It’s nice not to have to wait and only hear the news stories someone else has deemed important after the fact.

Good stuff on the app, CNBC! Worthy, factual and interesting news and stories. Keep it flowing boldly, it’s what you do. Love ya, Thomas S.
  • Crash log every time I get a notification?

    By Dougteeshot35
Why is it that I get a crash log on my device every time I receive a notification? Plus the watch app isn’t even capable on watchOS 5. Fail.
  • Most used app on my phone

    By oluwateeJP
CNBC app makes stock trading easy and a hobby.
  • Still something missing but overall good site

    By SFKenzie
So what is missing for me is the lack of international news. Over the last few years somewhat painfully the US has realized that, though it is still economically the strongest country in the world, it is part of a global market that is working very hard to compete with us. The world depends on the US and reciprocally. It is that very reciprocity that we have ignored for so long. It is getting better but we are not there yet and you guys can tremendously help in that process. But you are not yet there in my judgement. For example something happened yesterday with Brexit that could have significant consequences to us. Not much coverage on it. They are so many examples I could cite. So I continue to get my international news with Bloomberg (I refuse to pay for it though but I don’t mind advertising) and The NYT. Anyway I do believe you are doing a great job, why not add to your credentials Michel Reichert (former banker and Private Equity founder)
  • Missing functionality

    By straighttalk44
There’s too much missing from the stock quote screen, like Options just for one. Very frustrating
