    Since the last update I can not open any of the stories. It tries, but the wheel spins and no result is delivered. In addition, it will periodically tell me I have reached my max free articles for the month, even though I have a subscription. The process to restore is not difficult, just inconvenient.
  • App won’t open

    Every time I try to use this app, all I get is the Daily Press screen and it stays on that screen for 30 seconds or so then closes without opening to get a menu or anything. Needs fixed!!!

    My subscription to the hard copy became outrageously expensive so the partial delivery option with digital access was a result of costs. However, I am finding the digital version keeps me from going out on wet and dreary days to get the hard copy and it is the same news. I also do not have to sort through tons of ADs that I normally just recycle anyways; I get my favorite merchants coupons electronically. I am having difficulty getting the email link daily (called CS twice) but I have the app on my dashboard so it is not a big deal. Easy to use but occasionally some of the articles must be expanded to get the clarity of print. If costs go up I will probably just get news from other digital sources as this has shown me I can change an old habit.

  • Good news, Good app

    This is a nice and easy app for reading my local paper. Very clear, crisp images and text. Fast indexing and ability to jump to the sections I want to read first. Stable, has not crashed or locked up on me yet. Nice job Daily Press.

    When full screen is shown it is not easy to see any one article to select it. When a single article is selected it can be made larger.

    Soooooo with the latest update, I have 10 free credits a month to view "premium" stories. Trouble is, the app no longer tells you which is premium & which is not prior to selecting it. Once you realize it is premium, it's too late, you've spent your credit. I, like so many others, WILL NOT pay a subscription to your company to read your poor, liberally biased trash. I'm doing what I should've done long ago, get my news from somewhere else...
