Pocket Pharmacist App Reviews

  • High quality

I don’t normally write reviews but I have been using this app for a long time and I use it almost on a daily basis. There are many reviews out there that are upset with the subscription based service now, and I admit when it first popped up I deleted the app and tried to find another. I found many other apps but none had the quality of content and ease of use as this one. I am a paramedic and use this app almost daily for drug interactions and what not with patients. To me the $10 a year is worth it for medical professionals. If you don’t feel like the price is worth it then you should download and use a different lower quality app, as for me I will gladly pay the fee for the quality of information. Keep up the good work.

I’ll be deleting this app I’ve had for many years. It’s been a wonderful app but then one day, greed reared it’s ugly head and the app designers decided it would be best to start charging a subscription fee to use it. Consumers always have a choice and a voice. For drug information that is free through many other sources, say no to this subscription fee.

The developer is a crook. Those who paid for this app are now forced into a subscription. Greed got the best of him...hope your new plan works well for ya bud.
  • Great app, price now too much!

I paid for the app a couple of years ago now the developer converts it to a subscription model fee per MONTH! Get the Drugs.com app. Works great and it's free!
  • App asks to pay suddenly s subscription fee

I bought this app and already own it....for a few years now. Suddenly the developer wakes up one day and wants to charge a monthly subscription. This is very unfair for your old customers who had no clue while purchasing it that one day you will want to charge a subscription. You can do that with your new subscribers but not the ones who have already bought it. I’m deleting this app...

I used it for free for a long time and it was (mostly) very useful. Now that it’s been expanded and upgraded to a purchased app I am finding it to be one of the best pharmacy apps I’ve used. I see patients and enter Med histories and if I don’t know what the med is I can look it up and not have to read a ton of verbiage to get what I need. Priceless.
  • B.S Move by developer.

Bought the app when it came out a few years back now the developer locks the first paying customers he had with the b.s of making us pay a monthly fee. Its a good app but I'm sorry how is this right? How can you make people repay for something they bought for a one time charge. I understand if you wanted to do that from now on but it just doesn't seem right to do this to people that own it. It's better to just Google the info you want instead even if it's going to take one or two more minutes than paying people that are going to screw you again with another b.s charge later again.

I get it. But I paid for this app, and should be no other charge. Now that they charge monthly fees, this app is no longer useful for me.
  • Great app! But not willing to pay for it!

Had this app for years, downloaded it for free initially, deleted it a couple months ago. I’m not willing to pay when all the information provided is available free on the Internet.
