  • Great app!

I love planning my trip so easily, whenever I want. For me it's usually when I'm board or sleepy. Great use of that time!
  • Map is not very clear and cannot add points

Thought I am going to get map clarity like googlemap but not so. Cannot add own point of interest
  • smart app, worth the price

i loved the interactivity on the app and the ability to share updates with travelers. also the ability to create an itinerary so easily was helpful. all i had to do was give the guide my preferences. it also 'smart orders' the trip based on locations. the app basically did everything for my travels and when you think about it, a guidebook basically just gives you places to visit. mtrip did that but also planned the trip, gave me directions, and had interesting features like augmented reality. great app.

  • A really good guide

I used this in planning a Chicago vacation and it was really helpful. I like how it takes all the places you are going and creates an optimized tour that speeds over the length of time you will be in the city. You can also gave it pick out places that were not in your list, weighted toward your interests.
  • Great guide!

  • Smart app

Overall I really liked the app. Friendly user and nice interface. I used it mainly for sightseeing for a weekend only travel in the city, and it helped me greatly. I found a good restaurant too. GPS worked well. I hope more users will complete the bars' and restaurants' list and rate them like in yelp. Not enough choice in the list yet. It is the only weakness I saw. I ll use this guide for other travels no doubt!
  • Nicely interactive but hideously overpriced

$9.99?!? Seriously?? Good thing I got it for free. (Gotta love Bargain Bin and 148Apps.) Should be about $1.99, tops. There's little to this app that you can't do using Yelp, MetroMix or most other Chicago travel sources. After playing around with this app for a bit one thing I like is that it seems to be constantly developing, like Yelp. You can add locations or events to be viewed publicly or just for yourself. At this point, at least the restaurant section is glaringly light on locations and the ratings are highly disputable. Rates Pizzeria Uno 5 stars (yuck!) and doesn't even list Malnati's or Giordano's. Rates a couple of Italian Beef joints and the Vienna Beef Factory store higher than Charlie Trotter's. Has no listing for Alinea (recently named the best restaurant in America,) Tru, Nacional 27, NoMi or Keefer's or many others too numerous to go into here. Over time this might develop into a great Chicago resource but as of now it's a bit light. I'll hold onto this app and see how it develops but I'm betting it'll be a year or so before this app has any real value. Regardless, it's sure not worth its current price.
  • Awful App

Is not worth the money half of the options don't work and the gps only give you a map of downtown. It supports none zig the surrounding area where a lot of things are. This app is junk use yelp instead
