New York Subway MTA Map App Reviews

  • Mediocre

    By Ken NYC
So-so. It’s clear that the developers don’t live in New York, and have no idea how people actually use the subway or refer to aspects of the subway system. Also, the app has not been updated for all the stations that now have countdown clocks. Far inferior to the recently deceased iTrans NYC app.
  • Piece of garbage !! Don’t waste your time

    By gfysstfu
I thought it was a subway app to get you from point A to B etc. however , all it is is just a map that you can get or download anywhere. They make you purchase the map for 2.99 to use it. Don’t waste your time !!!
  • Plagued with errors

I’m astounded at how full of errors this app is. Wish I could have my money back.
  • New York City Subway Map

I have found this NYC Map system extremely helpful especially during times when I’am trying to find my way through the city from various locations. Hey, I’ve lived here in Brooklyn since the middle 1990s and it still gets challenging. Great Map and connects..

It good to have a map right at my fingertips 👍🏾💯.
  • Default Open?

Good app. Wish it had a bus map in it too. Also would like it to open in a chosen / frequently used area. Always opens in Queens and have to scroll over to Manhattan. Other than that, a good map.
  • Not user friendly

    No instructions...difficult to navigate
  • Super helpful

Very helpful app. Easy to use. Great use around the city
  • Great Status, Not Great Searching

    By MzWhy
I always check my status on this but don’t seem to be able to search from address to address, only subway station to station.
  • Not useful

Try typing in LaGuardia as a POI. App doesn’t recognize it! Then try Airport: it only has JFK! Time Square? Not there. Absolutely useless to the out of town traveler that doesn’t already know all the addresses and stations. Now try the same thing on the Transit app. Flawlessly finds what you’re looking for and gives you route options including integration with your personal Uber account.
