  • No longer a Uber user! Never leave an item behind !

    I went on a trip to Washington DC. Spent a 68 dollars on a trip from Dulles airport to downtown. Fast forward a couple a days I realized a left my wireless headphones in the Uber. I tried using the app to contact the driver but driver never answered and didn’t have voicemail set up. I then reached out to Uber support to see if the company can get a hold of the driver. Nothing for a couple of more days I decided to see what the progress was, sent an email and of course I get a long email how the driver will not respond via phone or text and if I believe the driver has my headphone to go to local law enforcement to report the driver and they are not responsible because the driver is an independent contractor. The problem is 1. I am supposed to get a police report for their driver when it’s not even in the same state. What are the police going to do but out a warrant for the drivers arrest lol I think the police have better things to do. 2. I didn’t want to get anyone in trouble or lose their job. 3. It felt like Uber wanted to pin the driver and me against each other instead of offering a credit or an better solution. I made a human error by accidentally forgetting to grab my wireless headphones and now I have to replace which isn’t exactly cheap. Uber doesn’t care about the customers or their drivers. Their only solution was get a police report. So I will now be giving my business to Lyft and I am looking for another food delivery service to replace Uber eats.

    Uber is a great tool, Service is great but no show trip is mysterious. For instance, I called for a ride last time before last time, ETA was showing 2 minutes, then I noticed Uber Car was going to opposite direction where I was calling from, called the driver after 5 mins, Driver was saying that trip got cancelled. My Systems never showed cancelled until I cancelled after 35 mins. Got a bill from Uber worth of 0 but Uber app asked me to pay BDT 30 to next Driver. My question is, why should passenger pay extra while Driver was not responding for 30 mins. Hope this kind glitches will be fixed soon
  • New Routing Is Terrible

    I use Uber Pool regularly. I used to love using it. They seemed to have recently changed the app. Now the estimate given for pickup time is always less than 5 minutes but actually pickup time is more like 15 min. My driver actually passed me today to first drop off another passenger and then looped around a few blocks to pick me up adding another 5 minutes.

    Tomó Uber a veces... cuando no me queda de otra.... muchas veces he pedido el Uber y me cancelan el viaje, muchas otras he pedido el Uber, aceptan el viaje los conductores y veo que sólo están parados y no avanzan, ahí en el mismo lugar donde aceptaron su viaje. Una vez me indicaban que ya estaban en el lugar que les indiqué para iniciar el viaje, salí y no había nadie, ahí estuve un rato, tuve que cancelar el servicio y pedir otro y me cobraron 100 pesos. Al principio eran más serios, sus carros impecables, los choferes muy bien vestidos, ahora los carros ya no están como antes, los choferes algunos tienen buena presencia, otros no, me han tocado en camiseta deslavada con jeans deslavados. Aún en Uber Black. Como dije desde el principio, lo tomo cuando en verdad no me queda de otra
  • Navigation for drivers is not great

    I don’t know if this is human error or the app, but EVERY single driver I have is always confused and asking me for directions. I shouldn’t have to give my Uber driver directions when I am paying for a service.
