Plane Finder Lite App Description

Plane Finder Lite shows live moving planes on a worldwide map. Watch planes on the map or view with Augmented Reality mode. Simply tap a plane to see the flight number and airline. We've even included 23 different plane markers for easy identification. You can even use Augmented Reality (AR) view to identify planes overhead using your device camera! Plane Finder has been top rated and top ranking since 2009 and covers most of the world, tracking 12,000+ planes simultaneously. If you like this app you'll love the full version of Plane Finder. The full version includes a huge array of additional features such as playback, logos, powerful search, unlimited filters and alerts, route data, airport departure boards, augmented reality view and much much more. Plane Finder has been featured by Gizmodo, CNN, GMA, BBC, Sunday Times, Mail on Sunday, CNET, Wired, GQ Magazine and many more. We have millions of happy users and Plane Finder is regularly updated with innovative new features. Our support team always listen to and reply to feedback. At a glance our worldwide coverage includes - • Europe 95% - realtime • North America – 100% via slightly US delayed data – Nationwide realtime ADS-B network in place and capturing 95% of ADS-B equipped aircraft • Rest of World – Excellent coverage in Australia, New Zealand, Central America, Brazil, Japan, Taiwan, Dubai, India, Malaysia, Thailand, South Korea, Maldives, Mauritius, Singapore, Hong Kong and many more countries. Important Note: Plane Finder works by picking up real time ADS‐B signals used by aircraft to transmit positional data to land based receivers. This technology is faster than traditional radar and is used for air traffic control and navigation. ADS‐B is not used by all airlines or aircraft, however this is changing and the number of aircraft tracked by ADS‐B is increasing all of the time. Traditional radar type data in near real time is also included for North America; this is subject to a short time delay. • Bug Which Came wLast Update Ate 2 ⭐️s

After the last update an ad will occasionally fill the entire screen and there is no way to get rid of it. The X to close the ad doesn’t work, you have to quit the app and reboot it.
  • Fun app

I couldn’t figure out how to contact the developer at first. Then found it has to be done through the app, not their website. The developer responded quickly to my question about getting rid of the ads on a second device, so it’s all good. I was happy to see the option of getting rid of 3rd-party ads without having to purchase the full version. It’s a fun app. We always watch the planes in the sky and wondered where they were going. Now we can find out.
  • Poor App

    By Usashrimper
Often identifies the wrong aircraft coming from and going to the wrong place. All the details you want are turned off in this app. I do not recommend it.
  • Non stop notifications with no way to turn off

    By Jaroberts24
Because “settings” is a paid feature to unlock apparently. That’s a delete for me. The app isn’t even worth the trouble
  • Cool app

Fun to guess what type of aircraft is flying over and seems to be accurate.

  • Nothing but ads...and why?

    By GLMS-NC
The free version is so difficult to use I immediately deleted. Why? Nothing but ads. I don't need ads every time I touch the screen then have to wait to close them. I want to see plane/flight info. Don't waste your time as there are much better free apps. No reason to buy either. Pure junk.
  • Just get FlightAware app... they don't charge you

    By Pj 13
Looks like it may have nice functionality, but most of the data is locked until you pay to upgrade. FlightAware does it better... for FREE.
