Logos Bible Study Tools App Reviews

  • Will not open in my iPad or iPhone

    By Seminary Geek
The previous version was sluggish, but at least it ran. This version will not open at all on either my iPad or iPhone. Is there a way I can just roll back to about 3 versions ago when it actually worked? Please fix!!!
  • My app is not operating properly but it’s my favorite

    By Mrs. Bryant30
Since the update, my logos app on my phone and my iPad have been frustratingly buggy. While I’m reading and scrolling (downloaded material) it stops me as if the rest of the scripture is not there and I have to restart the whole app to get a little further and my highlighter is also buggy. On my phone, when I attempt to restore purchases (subscriptions) I made from my computer, the app quits and gives an error coded and this box pops up a lot. I’m reading more now I just want to have access to my subscription and bug free material. Logos is still my favorite Faith-walk bible app.

  • Getting Adjusted

I love the resources but I’m having trouble maneuvering around in the software program. Maybe it takes more time than I think. Has yet become user friendly for me.
  • Excellent development and improvements

The app has come a long way--load times are much better and the better handling of downloaded books makes transitioning to a new resource much more effective. I now use this frequently when preparing for church over and above the main computer application. I would like to see a less unwieldy library feature built in automatically (wading through a thousand resources when I can't remember the name of a specific text is challenging--though the search function is quite powerful). The downloaded books I have selected for when I am offline often seem to get corrupted and this is not usually evident until I am somewhere I can’t easily redownload.

Use it, it will change your life.

The training videos are absolutely unhelpful and the good ones from mpseminars are expensive and seems like logos is a little more about getting the money than training up the next generation of God’s people. The product is good but if you can’t use it it doesn’t help much. I find myself looking into my library and preparing my sermons or theological studies by writing it out in a paper notebook.
  • Faithlife???

    By Legal Speed
I join the dissatisfaction with Faithlife. I have been with Logos for years. I use it in iPhone, iPad and Dell windows. I have used 4 versions of the Bible under Logos 7 and really appreciated it. Now I am lucky!! to get one to come up. Then they send me a notice to pay for down load. It must be a new method of gouge, assuming the average customer most likely will not catch it. Sad for a business who claims to provide spiritual guidance and materials -with clumsy implementation. The screen shots do not lead to answers. Lloyd
  • The new version is full of bugs

    By Boaz
I really like the Logos app, but have found the new version to be full of bugs. When I open books the app won’t let me scroll like I should normally be able to.
