  • Best recipe importing

This is the first meal planning app I used. I became accustomed to how smooth importing recipes was. I tried AnyList, and the same recipe that worked with MealBoard failed on AnyList. When I emailed AnyList, they said it was impossible because of how Cooking Light had that particular recipe. “Interesting,” I thought, as somehow then MealBoard can achieve the impossible because the very same recipe worked in MealBoard. With that, I cancelled my AnyList subscription and made a donation to MealBoard, since they’re a one time purchase and never ask me for money while still maintaining the app. This is the one you’re looking for.
  • Poorly organized - Not User friendly

I don’t find this app to be much what I expected. I was hoping to simply track my intake and/or plan my meals and then get at least a week’s snapshot of what it is or was. Then I was going to analyze my weight goals with my intake. All this app does is have me input these things on a daily basis; not much different than what I would do on my calendar.
  • Very helpful app!

My husband and I have been using this app for years to plan our meals and grocery list. We’ve always been very happy with it as it is extremely helpful. I’ve never even looked into other meal planning options because this one is so good. I really appreciate how easy it is to sync my menu with my grocery list. My husband even gets excited to add new recipes to it and upload pics of our food to go with it 😄

  • Imports any recipe

This app has lots of cool features that I keep meaning to try but I find it invaluable for the things I use it for all the time. It has become the only place I store all of my recipes. I love being able to scale recipes. Favorites that I wouldn’t bother to make just for me are much easier when the app scales the ingredients for me. My all-time favorite feature though it recipe import. When I find a recipe in a blog post that I want to try I just copy the url and open MealBoard. When I click on Import Recipe it pastes the url and loads the site. I add categories and occasionally categorize an ingredient and it is done. It is so simple I import recipes I haven’t tried yet because it is easier than using the original site while fighting my way through a bunch of ads, and I can scale it to meet my needs. This app meets my needs very well.

This app is great! Love it so much and have been sharing it with family and friends. I am working on doing a months worth of cooking in one shot and this tool is invaluable. So far it has far exceeded my expectations. With every penny I spent!

I enjoy using this app and importing recipes, etc. There are a few things that could be a little easier but overall very good and worth the money.
  • Love it

I love this App. Been using it for a long time and it’s great for keeping your favorite recipes in one place. Also can be used to inventory your foods so if you are in the store, you can just look at the app to see how much you have in hand.
  • Really pretty good, but...

There’s one problem with this app and for me it’s a huge one. There does not seem to be a way to import recipes from other sources. Ingredients have to be typed in one at a time, and I just not willing to spend the hours necessary to enter all my recipes that I have saved on Pinterest or In other cooking apps. Too bad. Otherwise, this is a very comprehensive app and does just about every other thing I would want out of a recipe app.
