    I have had terrible luck with any caregivers responding to my messages. Even those who applied to my job directly then do not respond. So far not worth the money.

    I’m trying to reply to an applicant for a nanny position and the keyboard on my phone won’t go down so I can hit the send button. Very frustrating! Tried turning phone sideways and I guess the app isn’t set up to be viewed sideways. I really don’t want to sign in from my computer. It defeats the purpose of downloading the app. I’ve already downloaded the update. Please fix ASAP!

    I have paid for three months of service with care.com. After posting a job, I recieved several responses interested in the position. I messaged some for an interview, only two thirds of the applicants actually showed up for our scheduled interview. Other interested sitters did not even respond back when I messaged them. The one person that did show up for an interview later stated they were looking for full-time position, when my add clearly stated part-time position and I even included the hours. A supe frustrating experience with care.com and a acomplete waste of my money, as I found care outside of using the app. Do not waste your money!

    So just for people to respond to your applications and hire you they force you to subscribe and pay....YOU HAVE TO PAY JUST TO WORK LOL......this is honestly so dumb.

    This was the best thing we discovered in our search for caregivers. A little pricey for the ones looking to hire as we are going to be paying whoever we find. The ones looking for work also pay, which I can accept more readily as they will be landing the job. More people might frequent the site looking for the right person for their need if they didn’t have to pay so much I didn’t use any of the other features - maybe others do, I don’t know. I just needed to find and contact people.

    I find the pricing too high. For a month of usage is $40. Not every user is here to use this app continuously. Just needed a driver for a month. You pretty can’t use the app unless you’re willing to pay $40 or $100+ Give people a break.
  • So much potential so little customer service

    This app has so much potential. The problem I have with it is they don't seem to be catering to the needs of its members. It has started to add really annoying features like closing jobs on me when I want to keep them open and it won't allow me to erase old messages from applicants. This becomes very time consuming. When I reach out for help they give the "sorry, that's just the way it is now" response. I will likely leave and find another service. Such a shame.

    I used this app to hire my nanny and had a great experience. BUT I cancelled my subscription after the first month and then kept getting charged for 4 months!! I went back in 2x to cancel again and it still continued to renew. The 800# provided by care.com does not give you a representative option. I had to go through Apple and they only were able to refund me for 2 months.
