  • Game is now made for toddlers

    By Beneromides
This used to be a scrabble game. Now it is some sort of sick demented love child of candy crush and scrabble that was hatched in three mile island. I used to be able to select letter tiles and form words to score points. Now I sit and wait for janky laggy present prize box garbage clutter to clear before I can play the game. The downfall began with the unnecessary award screen for scoring 30 or 50 or even 100 points. I though it was kinda weird that they started this participation trophy thing with the points. Then came the trophy garbage and the tricky cheat features. You can earn so many cheat abilities per game play. I assume they have a way to charge morons money for “game coins” if they need to cheat in order to enjoy the game. I sound bitter because I am bitter. Way to ruin a great game, whoever you are.
  • Advertisements booooo

    Too many ads.
  • New version wrecks app

    By Arkiepoo
I am very disappointed that I no longer can play the game without having to go through a maze of junk. Will look for something else after playing for years.
  • Location not authorized

    By mccoytest
I really like WWF. My only complaint is that it is using location services without my permission; whenever I return home WWF tells me I am back home. I don’t want it following me, but I don’t know how to stop it. Is it sending info somewhere? Apple should enforce use of location service authorizations, or lack of it. WWF should permit NOT using location services.
  • Words fault

I have the game and love playing. I have the free version and the ads freeze causing me to shut down with each play. To get the 9.99 version I can not use my password only fingerprint I D which bi don’t have. HELP!!!!
  • Ready to quit this app

    By Jcisto
Yes! I totally agree with yellowbugnana. I’m ready to call it quits with the app because games are so frustrating now with all the pop ups in your face - no fun at all. I can’t even ignore them. Tonight a game with “cleopatra” popped up and when I “resigned” it was a mark again me? What’s that all about? So disappointed!
  • I want to play the game, not watch your stupid graphics!!!

    By Bookworm Expatriot
This is what happens when developers have to justify their jobs... 99% bells and whistles, and 1% of what I downloaded the app for in the first place. Get rid of the extraneous ADHD nonsense and go back to having this be a game!
  • Too many distractions

    By J,hghj,cxC jghsKJFFSmn
I love to play scrabble and this is a decent substitute since my family lives far away. However, all the little ‘rewards’ and little inserted “play all the letters” are really annoying interruptions to a fun experience! I also try to ignore the thing that tells me that someone got 1200 points with the word that I was just quite pleased to play for 32 points. It’s seriously disheartening.
  • What used to be a great app... millennial takeover!

    By David Meier Smith
Used to be fun. I used to be able to just play words... with friends. I assume that millennials are in charge now of updates and such for this game. They think that everyone needs constant validation and trophies and awards. I just want to play the game. Even after you PAY for ad free, you’re still subjected to constant pop ups and annoyances of “daily goals” and “challenges” and treasure chests. Who actually likes or needs this? Seriously! It has nothing to do with anything. Most of the annoying options you can turn off, but the self validation ones you can’t. So... if you are a millennial... go for this! Get your trophies and awards and feel good about yourself! If you just want to play a game... GO ELSEWHERE!

I love the game, but the daily challenges and daily words are maddening. I can’t seem to be able to opt out of them.
