  • Could be a lot better!

    By vivekl88
The app is great for getting scores for all the sports on the face of this earth but a lot of the times it shows outdated data. Most of the time I need to relaunch the app or keep refreshing just to see the latest scores. There no other app I would rather use but this one could be lot better.
  • Bug: defaults to my provider

    By serge.ya
Purchasing the subscription does not unlock ESPN live broadcasts in the app because it defaults to the lack of subscription through my internet provider.
  • Great when it works right...

Got this app so I could see the HSBC Sevens series since ESPN got the rights to stream it. Problem is that more half the time it won’t stream live! It says it starts at a certain time and if you try to join the stream while games are in progress it won’t let you! Fix this ESPN! I paid extra to get the games live and just because I don’t tune in exactly when it starts shouldn’t prevent me from watching😡
  • Highlight Reels.

    By CaptainStickmsn
When viewing highlights of games I may have missed, the quality of the video isn’t all that good. I try starting the video over to make it better but that does not work. In the end, still a good functioning app.
  • Fix to be able to turn breaking news off

    By Blahhhjhhhhhhhhh
I turn breaking news off in notifications and it comes back on!
  • ESPN + subscriber

As an espn + subscriber I am really disappointed in the overall design and function of this app. It is cluttered , confusing, and just poorly put together. I can’t even say why but I don’t like anything about what it offers. DZAN is brand new and 10x better app design and function. Needs a ton of reworking.
  • Streaming is terrible; can’t handle games running long

Games are supposed to start at XYZ time do not start on time. Streaming often pauses. I cancelled my subscription. The Disney streaming app is going to be terrible if this is an indication.
  • Misleading iPhone App

    By ScottC--
Your install information for the ESPN iPhone app is very misleading. Only after downloading the app and watching a very small portion of the game, your app locked out access and said we had to add our tv provider information. (1) If I had the TV subscription, I wouldn’t be using the small iPhone app (we are in a remote part of the country and don’t have access to cable or expensive satellite service, especially not to just watch the volleyball championships), (2) The notice that you had to have a TV provider was nowhere to be found on the app site. This leads me to believe your practice was geared more toward gaining people’s private information, instead of gaining people’s loyalty and real satisfaction with the app.

You can’t favorite or unfavorite any teams. Been broke for months! What a joke
  • No Volleyball?

    By vb8chick
You seriously have a ton of obscure spots... and NO volleyball (which I’d argue isn’t all that obscure). I can’t even get the scores of the matches, and it’s the NCAA tournament. I thought for a hot moment “super net ball” was just your odd name for volleyball, but it’s its own thing. Who knew? Also, I can’t watch without a cable provider, even with a free 7-day trial... what is that about?
