  • Love this app BUT

Ever since the update I can no longer ‘cast’ my music to my television chrome cast which I’ve always been able to do. Would love a fix to this :(
  • The best just keeps getting better!

I’ve been using Slacker since their beginning and it just gets better every year. As a music service Slacker blows its radio like competitors out of the water. Pandora and Sirius XM don't come close to the variety and programming on offer. Stations can be customized with DJs, news and sports. For less than $4 a month you can get rid of the ads. And if you're willing to pay the $10 for premium you can get something comparable to Apple or Spotify. The app is gorgeous and a joy to use.
  • Improve Dash audio quality

    By LAX20531
I love Slacker. It’s awesome for those of us who don’t follow artists and want help listening to the latest content through their curated channels. That being said, Slacker has done such a poor job in marketing itself and attempting to acquire a loyal base of paid subscribers to assure its long term survival. The idea to cross market with Dash Radio seems short sighted given it’s a gratis product, but the least you could do for subscribers is to offer higher bitrate streams because the audio quality is lacking. Other than this I can’t say enough good about Slacker and send everyone I know to the platform and encourage them to subscribe to at least the low-tier subscription as it’s an excellent value. Lastly: Chromecast streaming is broken after iOS 12 and needs to be fixed.
  • I like Slacker but the app has issues

    By ejward13
I am a fan of Slacker Radio but I’ve had a lot of issues with the app. Actually, I’ve had the same issue several times. It asks for a security code (random sequence generated in the app) which is a bit annoying but... ok. I enter the code, it won’t accept it. Contacted service and the answer is to uninstall and reinstall. I’ve had to do this 3 times now in just over a week. Next time i have to uninstall I won't reinstall. It's too bad, I like the service but the app isn't worth it.

  • Not Getting What Was Paid For & CS Is Bad

    By Mike9400
I have a subscription to Slacker Radio Plus. I noticed a couple weeks later that I had newly acquired a little red limited “skip song” counter. When inquired, I asked Slacker Billing CS what was up. They said they never received subscription from me. Even after emailing them a screenshot of Apple’s receipt and then another screenshot proving it to be an “Active Subscription,” I am still being denied the service I paid for.
  • Log in process broken

My customer login works on one device, however exact same login results in error message when used on another device. Customer support could not resolve problem other than advising me to cancel subscription and initiate new one.
  • Perfect for $3.99 per month

    By MacMan9876
Why is this my favorite music app? 1. The "Plus" version with no advertising is only $3.99 per month. 2. On some stations there's short, insightful commentary by the DJ, Parker, etc. with soothing voice introducing you to music. Absolutely love this feature. 3. There is a “no-ad” ABC News station at your fingertips. 4. If you wish, you can have Slacker occasionally give short news updates from ABC News BETWEEN songs. And/or short no-ad sports updates as well. You can create the perfect ad-free radio station. So cool. 5. The user interface is clean and easily understood. In short, if you don't want to pay a service a full $9.99 per month to pick specific songs and if you don’t need to download music, then Slacker Radio is a fantastic alternative.
