And you get one star. Regardless.

Don’t ask me why I like to keep track of my mileage. Maybe it started when I had a gas hog of a car and tracking the mileage gave me real numbers to justify the purchase of a new car. But with the cost of gas continuing to rise, I definitely do track it. I initially got this app because I was taking a road trip with a rental car and my former app did not allow me to add another vehicle. Well I am converted! I fell in love with Fuelly and never looked back to the other one. Fuelly has a great interface and is easy to use. Kudos Fuelly!
  • They Sell Your Info to Your Insurance

My Insurance company contacted me and tells me they know how many miles I’m driving per year on my vehicle. When I tell them I was using Fuelly, they said that the Developer sells my information to third party companies and thats how Insurance companies get it. I will delete and stop using this stupid app.

App works well and provides a quick way to add station to your fill up.
  • Needs to allow $0 fuel entries

I belong to a fuel rewards club where I can save enough to pay for a full tank of gas without spending any of my own money. But it does not seem like it will properly work a full tank at $0 into average fuel cost and average dollars per gallon.

I like the general use of the app. I use it to track my Government Vehicle as well as my personal motorcycle and truck. I have learned the hard way that if you take a picture of your receipt, there is no way to retrieve it even if you go to Fuelly online. I now use Adobe Scan add it to the app as a PDF and I also keep it in a file in adobe on my phone. I haven’t been on in a while, but I don’t think you can print or specify certain reports to print for your vehicles. I do wish the online interface was better so I could print certain things or be able to pull the info into a spreed sheet like excel. Don’t get me wrong the general use of tracking services, mileage, parts, overall costs and all it dose its job. You just have to do a little more work if you actually need to put the info your are tracking into a report or file.
  • Very poor customer service

I have been using Fuelly since it first started as Gas Cubby. I had the premium version, so therefore should be grandfathered into that plan. A few months ago I experienced a phone issue and had to reset my phone to factory settings and lost the premium version of this app. I wish I could rate this lower than one star because I have been e mailing customer support for weeks and haven’t heard back from them once.

I’ve been using Fuelly for 4-5 years. Now I’m a paying customer. In the last few months I have been experiencing fill-up disappearing. I am 100% sure they were entered and I even added a receipt to one of them. Wish I had taken the picture of the receipt with my iOS camera app and not the Fuelly app camera. Now I have no record of that fill up. PLEASE FIX THIS!
