  • Great but could be better

Update: Net carb tracking has been added and that is awesome- thank you. My only complaint left is that there are still only a few diets to choose from. Please add more, particularly intermittent fasting. 🙂 I have the paid version and I do like it (both paid and unpaid) better than My Fitness Pal. However, there are still some missing features. Please allow better diet customisation (meal frequency, intermittent fasting, net carb tracking on/off toggle, etc) for all five stars. One of the reasons I initially switched from MFP to Lifesum was the HealthKit integration- MFP only logs food but Lifesum logs food and water (as well as exercise, weight, etc). I'm enjoying the app, my daily gripe is that if I eat plenty of veggies it shows a bad day full of carbs, because it's showing total carbs instead of net carbs.

A very good app to help the people to lose weight and eat the right foods. In that way the users of the app. have more knowledge pf the calorie and carb. content of the foods.

This app has helped me more than any of my other health apps in so many ways it’s unbelievable. I highly recommend this app for people who are looking for a good guide on a healthier life style.

I bought the 3 month subscription, but it doesn’t track micronutrients. It doesn’t really do anything special that you can’t find elsewhere for free. I asked for my money back after an hour, but they won’t refund.
  • So much wasted potential

This app is pretty good, but could be so much better. Logging meals is inferior to MyFitnessPal by a wide margin, and it’s one redeeming quality is syncing other fitness apps to track calorie burn and update daily calorie goals automatically. However, this feature is extremely inconsistent and unreliable. If it became stable it would get five stars from me.

When I first started using this app it was fantastic and worked very well. Recently it has started not reading activity data from the “health” app. Is there a fix for this or will I need to find another tracking app?
  • Great App!

My friend recommended this app to me. I decided to download it and I really enjoy it and is my favorite health app so far. I even paid for a premium membership so I can enjoy all the options they have on there! (:

I actually do not find Lifesum app to be user friendly. I have great difficulty scanning barcodes and altering meal additions and/or deletions. Any interaction often requires test taking! I’m not a fan and intend to unsubscribe!

I hate apps where I get bombarded over and over to upgrade features. They will wear you thin like old pop up ads did. The function of this app if you are not getting premium is to enter in food for tracking. If it was just that, I’d be happy, but they’ve made it obnoxious by essentially creating one big commercial.
