  • Awesome program for beginners

    By Boschimica
I started this program in order to gain strength - I can’t even bench press the barbell! After week 1, my entire body is sore but I’m really enjoying the detailed instructions and videos. It’s very beginner-friendly. I’ve been tracking my progress using the Strong app. I wish the two apps were integrated so that I wouldn’t have to switch back and forth. The only problem is that I wish there were a more robust nutrition plan. There’s only an overview, which gives a guideline. I also follow mostly a plant-based diet so it would have been nice for some mention of any nutritional considerations. Also, the program discourages most vigorous cardio like HIIT and spinning because it will cut into recovery. Moderate, low impact cardio is fine though (examples: elliptical, hiking).
  • Pretty good

I like the app so far. The instructions are easy to find during the workouts and the tips she provides for how to do sets are helpful. However I really don’t like that I can’t track my progress with weights. I have to open up another app to keep track. It’s really annoying to be constantly flipping through apps when I’m working out.

Would have had five stars if it was preloaded into bodyspace

I’ve been following Meg on Instagram for a while now and when I heard she released a program via Bodybuilding.com, I just KNEW I had to follow it! I’m 1 day shy of completing week ONE and am IN LOVE!! Meg offers so much valuable advise and tips that are so new to me. I can’t wait to see my strength progress in the weeks to come!! :)
