  • Apple TV app is awful

Needs work to bring it on par with the iOS app.
  • Bad, and Not Improving At All

Needs UI love, but functional and hasn’t been too crashy. As it gets more content, hopefully usability will improve alongside. UPDATE: We’ll, it’s been months, and the app is just as bad as ever. Sometimes streams content, sometimes doesn’t. Interface jumps around randomly. Overall UI still appears to have been designed by first-year students (not the good ones). Content is improving, but that doesn’t matter if you can’t watch it. With so many examples of how to structure a media streaming app, it’s laughable that this one still fails at basic functionality and usability. NOTE: Apple TV app totally lacks a way to see a list of available movies, shows, etc. Oops. (To be fair, maybe it’s there somewhere, but I couldn’t find it.) UPDATE: Still the same awful app.

  • Horizontal read mode gone

I use my phone at times for this ap and with update I cannot read horizontal. When going panel to panel this mode would best fit each pic but no longer. Ugh. Edit I have to download a comic to read it horizontal but the update was to not have to download. Also the section on comics has gotten better but where is the new 52 issues? You guys kinda promised the world with this app I collect all the Batman related titles on paper but really looked forward to reading other hero’s and stories.
  • Liking it so far. I want more content though

I like what DC Universe got so far but I wish there was more content. Currently watching Young Justice and Titans. I find it weird that when I use my PC, the audio and video become off and I have the refresh every 10 minutes. I want to watch it on my TV. Put it on Nvidia Shield please! Wish the price was cheaper given that Netflix and Hulu are around the same price but offers more. I guess the comic section fills part of the void but they should offer me everything DC had. I’ve been mainly going on nostalgia to fill in the time and use of this subscription. (Added (2/14/2019) : the app bugs and freezes sometimes when I pause the video or put my phone on lock screen. This happens on my iPhone. The freezing happens on my Nvidia Shield.) Speaking of which. Old material works good but it doesn’t mean copy something that they had and put it all in future work. The animated series were good cause of world building, the different series (Batman, Beyond, Superman, Justice League) connected each other, and had some good emotional and realistic character development that you can understand. Young Justice gets it but I think it needs to flush their giant cast out. Pump them seasons out DC you guys can make a really dark ending this season and give me like 2 or 3 more after this one. That Savage back story is that sweet good good I’m talking about. Or more story about a character forward like Blue Beetle. I get Robin and some popular characters don’t need back stories but it definitely helps. That’s why Marvel movies work because they had movies about each character before we saw the Avengers. You guys did it in the animated series kind of. Do that! I get that DC needs funding. If I had control over a production team. I’d make some amazing reboots. Too bad they are trying so hard to be like Marvel/Disney. Don’t try to copy something that your franchises don’t really follow up on. Other than LEGO Batman I don’t think they should try so hard making campy one liners for their characters. DC got depth and grit on their side. Work with it!
  • Crashes a lot

Downloading comics was a better, smoother experience. I’m sorry you caved to idiots. Further, I can’t open this app without it crashing at least once while using comics.
  • The subscription service

Everything in in the app is great but the subscription. When I was done with the free trial I was trying to find the way to cancel but I couldn’t. I was looking everywhere but I cannot find it and then I deleted it and it auto billed me for the subscription which I didn’t buy.
  • To much lag

Every time I enter to this app is broke and there’s a lot of lag, if you’re watching a program in your cellphone and move to TV you need to start it again.
  • Great, but needs improvement

The apps content is fantastic, I’m a big DC fan and this platform is fantastic. The issue I have is the app itself is a bit lacking, the load times can be frustrating as well as some of the content stays as a gray screen and you cannot see what it is or access it.
  • Doesn’t work with Firestick and FireTV

The shows are good. There is limited content. Because I can’t watch in the Firestick and FireTV.... I have to watch the shows on my iPhone. I don’t like watching on a small screen all the time.
