Florence App Description

Florence is an interactive storybook from the award-winning lead designer of Monument Valley about the heart-racing highs and heartbreaking lows of a young woman's very first love. Florence Yeoh feels a little... stuck. Her life is an endless routine of work, sleep, and spending too much time on social media. Then one day, she meets a cello player named Krish who changes everything about how she sees the world and herself. Experience every beat of Florence and Krish's relationship through a series of mini-game vignettes - from flirting to fighting, from helping each other grow... to growing apart. Drawing inspiration from 'slice of life' graphic novels and webcomics, Florence is an intimate and unforgettable story.

Beautiful, captivating, but ultimately falls short in character development. If there was a sequel I'd be interested.

Pretty cool app. I’m just disappointed with the ending, and I finished it all within 15 min. This game would be so much better with more chapters or possibly a companion game.

Way to short. The ending was dumb.
  • Refreshing!

A little pricey. Wanted more. But the story line was concise; which is a good thing! Would love to have alternate endings based on the choices you make in the game to extend game play.
  • I was so invested in the story.

This game had beautiful art and sound design. You felt the characters emotions even without words. At the end (I won’t spoil) but I felt calm and content. The small actions that you do in the game were fun. Overall I think this is one of the best apps I’ve ever used.

When I began Florence, it was a little after midnight. Being a relatively novice gamer, I stick to simple concepts and thought I’d play a chapter or two and go to sleep. Cut to me, at 1:30 in the morning, in tears, speechless at what I was feeling. I’ve never played a game or more importantly, been told a love story quite like this before. Screw VR - this is the deepest and most moving thing I’ve experienced in ages. Download Florence today, get your Kleenex a nice big blanket and clear the calendar for a couple hours. You won’t regret it. Kudos!

This game is awesome😍 It’s really an interactive graphic novel but there are elements that do challenge the player/reader/user to think. I loved every moment of it. It’s so creative and inspiring for those who are creative!!! Please don’t miss an opportunity to not only experience but support this great app. It is as uplifting and fun as it is unique, albeit a bit heart breaking. And you get out of it more than you pay for it! Kudos to the developers for coming up with this great app. All of you must be an amazingly creative group of people! Thanks for putting something so beautiful that is actually worth buying in the App Store!!!!

If there was ever a game worth paying a little bit for it was this one. A classic story with an amazing, mini-game-filled twist. The animation is fun, quirky and beautiful. Every puzzle just adds and adds and adds to the character development. And 300% I find Florence to be relatable. Now, PLEASE MAKE A SEQUEL.
