  • Energy impact too much

    v.10.2.7 started affecting energy impact too much. My macbook pro becomes hot and start spinning fans for full throttle. I'm not happy with that.
  • Remote Mic Input Broken For Years!

    I haven't been able to use my microphone input from my Macbook Pro to Windows 10 Desktop with this client. I use to be able to RDP into my Windows box, make calls, hold conference calls, even collaborate with teammates in Slack meetings. I'm pretty sure I reported this issue a year and a half ago? I haven't been able to use the remote mic input since an update almost a few years ago. Please fix this! I love using RDP to multi task between multiple machines. :(

    I use this on a daily basis to manage systems and remote into my Windows workstation. I seldom have issues, and the few I've had they seem to fix quickly. The developers should be commended for making a great tool.

  • It would be a 5 star app BUT...

    While the bug was supposed to be fixed on the last update (I installed the update on 4 Feb 2019). The bug is that this app is wasting GIGABYTES of HDD storage with PNG snapshots of the remote desktop being used. There were over 10,000 files (with no extension, but a quick `file [filename...guid]' revealed a PNG type). The last update was supposed to have fixed this bug but it is still occuring. After the update, within 3 days, I had 2.5GB of desktop snapshots in the Container! This is a show-stopper, if it were fixed, I'd rate this 5 stars. But as it stands, this really causes havoc on time machine backups by adding several hundered megabytes if not gigabytes to EACH BACKUP!

    This version is still considerably slower at screen refresh than the old "square icon" app. I'll still be using the old MRD until they pull it.
  • Please fix the window grouping issue

    For some reason I can't have multiple connections open across multiple displays. All open connections jump to the one display that was used last. Very annoying.

    Thank you for mapping copy/cut/paste to work with either the command button or control. this is a good update and helps me stay sane. In a future update can you also map command-s (save) and command-z. (undo)

  • RDS doesn’t connect 90% of the time

    It just doesn’t work/connect most of the time. I’ve read countless blog posts and tried to troubleshoot, but it doesn’t change the fact that it hangs up in trying to connect most of the time, even after software updates, rebooting, standing on one foot facing towards the sun while chanting a prayer. Considering reinstalling 8 to see if it works any better. Mac O/S High Sierra 10.13.6 RDS 10.2.6 Yes, I have the settings for Sharing/Remote Management to allow access to all users HELP!
