  • Want to feel discrimination? Play this game!

    By Rail Baron
Foxnext actively performs A/B testing on its player base in a COMPETITIVE game. On release, a subset of players got Rocket Raccoon (an extremely rare chase hero) for free while most didn’t. About 45 days into release, they started giving some players 293k gold a day while the rest just get 93k. Then they inundate the 93k people with offers to purchase gold for actual money. The extra 200k comes out to about $50 USD that some people are getting for free EVERY DAY. It’s a complete abuse of the popularity of their IP and their player base. UPDATE: still 1 Star. Income discrepancies have stopped (yay) but they’ve taken multiple anti-player steps in the weeks since. There’s still A/B testing, but it’s now showing up in the enemies you face. Income has been reduced across most facets of the game. Leaderboards were topped by a sponsored YouTuber who is now actively fighting the community, it now requires logging in every 2 hours instead of every 6 to be competitive, and worst of all they’ve implemented a 24 person team based raid with a 2 hr limit. Alliances are international so this has forced multiple break ups, and people are asking for refunds and quitting the game in droves. UPDATE 2: Game has turned into an RNG luckfest. You no longer have control over which characters are strongest, you just hope for red stars and let RNG determine who you want to skill up. Also, one lucky drop can replace multiple months of effort overnight.
  • Game is great only one problem keeping it from 5 stars

    By skilz2713
Like I did the game is great the random features work for me... I’m pretty lucky... however with the new update I the first stage in the ultimate spider man campaign keeps crashes the game after a couple moves! I’ve tried everything restarting the game restarting my phone deleting it and reinstalling it ... still it crashes...Other then that great game it’s the s**t💩💩💩💩💩
  • Gambling

    By boboverdue
The game started off fine now, the developers don’t listen to the community.. it’s all about one thing, money, and their latest addition, red stars. What are they? You can only purchase them!! Also most content at max level will/is requiring it. The best best thing about them? Even if you pay for them it’s all random and you are at the will of rng to give them to the characters you use(this is very rare). Please do not waste your time like I did. It’s gambling. It’s predatory on every level. It should be removed from the store.
  • Ridiculous crashes

Crashing every time I play. This is not a new issue, just a lot worse!!
  • If i could give a negative review i would.

    By Felixng2015
Beware of fake positive reviews paid for by the foxnext. Game is a hot mess and ppl are quitting in droves. Company is extremely incompetent and greedy. Game is glitchy and constantly crashes on ios. They created a new dumb system which is 100 percent luck. Pull a 7 star red star and your character is 75 percent stronger. Invalidates everything else but luck
  • Developers think they know better than the players

    By TulkasHaedlin
tldr: I would not recommend this game to anyone. The developers have proven that they are willing to ruin their game and ignore negative feedback from the gaming community because they claim to know better than the people actually playing their game. You may have seen many reviews bashing the implementation of red stars (a slot machine style system to upgrade a character by up to 75%). However, I hesitated to add my own review because the developers claimed that they would respond to community feedback soon. Well, the developers responded by saying that they understand that players may be upset in the short term, but they are confident that everything will be fine after everything has settled out. They refused to make *any* changes to the system to either make it less random or reduce the impact of the red stars. In the meantime they are giving players additional pulls on their slot machine (which seems like giving free poker chips to a gambling addict) in hopes that it will appease them long enough for them to forget their outrage . It pains me to give this a one star review because I love the framework of the game. I love the idea of building a team of superheroes and fighting through the story. However, the developers have repeatedly shown that they don’t care about their current players. Today it’s red stars, but there will undoubtedly be another cash grabbing system that will ruin the game for another batch of players.
  • What’s going on

    By More Charaters
Soooooo are there like gonna be any more Wakandan besides black panther. And why is okoye an avatar when you can’t get her. So like what’s up with that 😕🙄
  • I’ve never seen a company work so hard to destroy a fun and successful product

    By [Fondu]
The gameplay is really fun, the animations are beautiful, and the story is surprisingly in depth... Which makes the fact that this is freemium gaming at its worst all the more sad. Foxnext bottlenecks the resources and profession in this game worse than any mobile game I’ve ever played. The “micro”transactions are ludicrous, sometimes asking as much as $100 for a single character...on a mobile game. There’s other marvel games on the market. Download one that respects your time and monetary investments.
  • Horrible game design, bugs, pay-to-play, and apathetic devs

    By Fork33333333
I was drawn to this game because it’s honestly beautiful, with a great interface and great animation. But it’s like the game designers stopped there. As you can see from other reviews they released a bunch of poorly planned features, namely these red stars that give you random boosts to any character. Since the chances of getting a red star for a character you want is like 1/1000 it’s quite frankly just gambling marketed to children. But outside of the shady gambling they’ve built into the game design, there are numerous bugs throughout the game that the devs seem to ignore (still have an issue ticket pending after almost a week) Plus the dev responses to community feedback are patronizing, gaslighting, and honestly horrible, horrible PR. If you play this game, expect errors, weird feature rollouts, and issue tickets that won’t be resolved. And condescending blog posts from the devs. Such a shame because I met some great people playing this game and really love the community. Wish the devs would hire user experience researchers. They clearly need to learn how to systemize and analyze the creative ideas of their users instead of assuming they are the experts at everything.
  • Good before red star

    By MikeDaChainsaw
Red stars ruined this game. It takes all of the work that I’ve done since May and flush it down the toilet. I love this game, but you guys really screwed us all on this one.
