  • No reconciling or reports or ability to change date order?

    By nonname2K
I like the desktop version of this and am in the process of downgrading from computer to iPad. This app version is so not what I expected. Some of the simplest things have been left out. Please fix. This is the 21st and people are more inclined to have tablets than laptops.
  • Took the plunge—free mobile encrypted cloud sync

    By Don A7
The new tags are great! Fast on cable and on AT&T cellular. I could not get my originally-created-in-2011 Macintosh document to sync with iPad, iPhone, or even create a new document from cloud on the Macintosh. Not sure if it was my dozens of custom categories, most with sub-categories no longer needed since we now have tags, or something else. I saved the old Macintosh document as an archive, and started from scratch using the new framework. If you are okay with the changes Apple made since iOS 9, the new structure is nice!
  • Not Very Happy

    By PapaBear2632
I can’t find a way to schedule out reoccurring payments, or even how to edit a transaction that I just put in as a mistake. How can you have money management software that doesn’t allow to edit transactions??? I would like a refund for this application.
  • Budget Doesn’t Sync Accurately to Mac version

    By capnttom
I love the Mac version and it runs flawlessly on my MacBook Pro and iMac. No syncing issues. Enter iOS. In particular, the budget doesn’t tie to the Mac version. For example, there are several accounts that will not show up in iOS making the app pretty useless other than a view of my checking account. But I can go to Bank of America and do this for free. I’m sure that IGG will work the bugs out, but this is pretty pricey software for iOS all things considered. UPDATE: The sync problem finally resolved itself. Seemingly, things just had to sit for about 24 hours. I don’t understand the sync mechanics, but all is working now. Therefore I’m upgrading my rating to 4 stars, as the app is indispensable when working correctly!
  • Love this app!

Great interface, and works excellently across all my devices.
  • No reconciliation function

    By WindyPoint
I love Banktivity on my desktop. The Banktivity app not as much. First and most important: a Reconciliation function please. I want to know my actual balance at any given time. The bank makes mistakes. I make mistakes. Reconciling is the best way to identify problems quickly. Second, I enter transactions every 3 to 4 days. I find it irritating to have to “review” to adjust dates for previous transactions. I’d like to be able to enter dates directly.
  • Worthless

    By someone929292
I was expecting to be able to do everything I can on the Mac version, so that I can manage finances without having to open my Mac. Nope. This is clunky and inefficient. Don’t waste your money.
  • Worthless without subscription

    By Erik19234
All be aware that this app is worthless without the direct access subscription. Apps that act like money cows should be a disgrace to the entirety of the App Store. It amazes me that there is software that is doing exactly what this app wishes to charge for free. Pity, I was very much looking forward to getting my money’s worth...This will not be the case. Do not download. Use Mint or other free resources.
  • App can’t open and immediately crashes

  • More work than it’s worth

    By cheesecake 13
I have been using the app with my wife for over at least a year, if not more than that. It seemed to work well. Now the app is super glitchy. The app consistently fails to make changes we are trying to input. It has become more work than it is worth. Luckily, our subscription runs out in a few months. We will be moving on to a different app.
