Love DnDBeyond on my computer and tablet, but this app could have made it great to work with an iPhone. Instead there is a crash-heavy app with poor navigation and searching, and completely lagging in bringing new product purchases like tome of foes into this format.
  • SoonTM

The development on this app is too slow. No way to hide adventures from players, no character sheet interface, bookmarks always wrong the first time they’re clicked, and the search function is atrocious. Dev streams don’t answer questions asked (they just get lumped into the “soonTM” generic response)!

I am really rooting for you guys. Search (really the most important thing)really needs work. What should speed up the game actually delays the pace. There's pretty constant crashes. Would love actual hyperlinks within the articles. Would love tabs I can have open on monsters / items. And then...yeah...character sheets. But i would say the app needs general stabilization first.
  • Dumpster fire. This is not a finished product.

Don’t waste your energy. Stick to the website as so many bugs riddle this joke of an app. No character sheets and books you’ve paid for don’t appear. It’s total garbage.
  • Potential here

There’s potential here but not there yet. This desperately needs a way to jump around the books. Once you go into part of a book you have to swipe continually to go back to the table of contents, for example. If you’ve got stuff unlocked on the DND Beyond website this provides a means of offline access but that’s it. Looking forward to updates that add basic quality of life improvements.
  • Great concept, crashes incessantly

When this app stabilizes, it is going to be great. The convenience of carrying 10 books is great. However, at lead on a few year old iPad, it is practically unusable. I am not sure how it got past the Apple smoke testing. I look forward to a stable product. Not something I encounter on IOS except every few years.
  • Useless

For the average user, going on the website will be much better. This app is just too limited on what it allows. Can’t even view my character sheets? Not the app for me.
  • Character sheets please for the love of god

D&D Beyond in general is pretty great, but very disappointed to discover that the iPhone version is basically just a glorified e-book app. Was excited to have my digital character sheet w/o having to lug my laptop around (my iPad is too old to run iOS 10).
  • Not what it should be

I already own all the books physically, I was hoping this app would offer what the website offers for creating a campaign, and all the other home brew stuff, but it doesn’t. I would be willing to pay for a service but not for a service that has nothing for me to use.
  • Worse than Web content

Crashes often and when it does work it is laggy and slow to respond. Also, the developer is slow to release content for the app. I’ve got pending content I preordered I can access through their website but not the app, so it’s not available for offline reading.
