  • Amazing workout for moms!

    I’m a working mom of two and have minimal time to work out. I’ve been using this app consistently since February (working out 4-5x/wk) and I’ve never felt stronger. I wake up 30 min earlier in order to get my workout in. Jillian is very encouraging and uplifting throughout her programs. I love that I can just choose a program (currently working the gauntlet) and it tells me what to do each day, I don’t have to look anything up or plan anything. Workouts change so you aren’t doing the same moves every week. If you are consistent you will be amazed at the results. Seriously this is the best at home workout but I’ve even taken it to the gym with me. I can’t say enough good things. She also includes meal plans which include a variety of tasty recipes. I definitely recommend!

    I have been looking for this type of app for a very long time. I love the workout choices and variety. Other reviewers have suggested several of the same improvements I would, so I HOPE these reviews are read by the developer (I mean, we’re ALL here for self-improvement, aren’t we?) I LOVE the paleo-specific meal plan. These are truly paleo recipes. One suggestion would be to include more “weekday” meals with fewer ingredients. A wider variety of recipes would be wonderful, too. (OK, that’s two suggestions...) For workout tracking, it would be great to be able to add outside workouts, or sync with more workout trackers. Right now I get zero credit for my three-mile runs and 20-mile bike rides. It just appears that I am much more of a couch potato than I am.) I signed up for the year plan, so I’m here for the long haul. I have never written a review for any app before, so that should be further proof of how much I believe in the potential of this program!

    I love Jillian! Ripped in 30 got me back in shape after my second baby. I was so excited to find this app and have been doing her programs over the past year. My favorite is slim 60. Thank you, Jillian!!

    JM challenges me everyday! The 7 minute workouts kick my butt and no one can say that they don’t have 7 minutes for their own health! I have started the slim down 60 program and it’s even better!! I haven’t started the meal plans because I have been doing my own healthy choices but everything that I’ve used has been great! My favorite is that I can tell the app what level of workout I am at-easy medium or hard and then I can rate each workout after I’ve done it.

    It took me a bit to learn this but that’s exactly what this app and Jillian preach. I have followed three programs thus far and have seen how a healthy habit of working out daily can truly transform my body and mind. It’s not for the impatient, the shortest plan is four weeks. I started before getting pregnant and have continued with her trimester specific workouts. I don’t worry about which muscles to workout on what day, weights or the length of the workout. That’s all part of what you’ll get. Make it a habit or add it to one and you’ll see the transformation and the healthy living results quick fixes can’t promise.

    I’m giving this five stars so you get the app. This app has been very motivating and educational for me. I’ve been more on track with exercising than ever before. I’ve exercised on a regular basis and have been an active person since I was a child. I always feel like Jillian Michaels’ methods and advice are practical and long-lasting so I’m thankful for this app. That said - there are some things I wish it could do like multi-task workouts i.e. allow me to choose levels per workout vs set it for my profile. Also, I would like to build a shopping list ahead of the week, not on the first day of the week. In addition, if I skip a workout day or it doesn’t sync with another app (which it won’t in terms of workouts) then I would like the option to push my rest day. Otherwise, I use the app 6 days a week at least and listen to Jillian’s podcast and read the blog. While I’m very much the type of person who makes up their own mind and choices, I find this a very motivating and useful app!
