  • Incredible

This app gives you a variety of exercises that keep you motivated and engaged. Not the usual bodybuilding stuff, but instead it offers compound exercises that focus on building strength for the whole body. Great for athletes, especially those who are playing for fun. It tracks your progress, gives you alternatives if you’re uncomfortable with a certain exercise or the gym is too packed to wait around for equipment to open up. It gives you the correct way of performing each exercise to avoid injury. The warm ups, primers, finishers and conditioning options are great as well, with lots of variety to keep you engaged. I do with the app would give you the price somewhere easy to find, as I am not sure if it 9.99 or 29.99? Either way, can’t say enough good things about it!
  • Payment is difficult to cancel

The app makes it difficult to get out of the payment.
  • Extremely unethical business/app

    By Currysuri
I canceled my account within the trial period because I did not think these workouts were very challenging. I was still charged 9.99 even thought I canceled within the trial period. Additionally, it is pretty challenging to find where to cancel - the company does everything it can to get the money out of you, and even when you do everything to cancel, you are still charged. I even reached out to the support email provided by the app developers and they did not even respond to my issue at all - no email back whatsoever. Very disappointed and know never to get anything related to this app and its developers again.
  • Worth it

    By Holly Benner
Getting motivated to train isn’t an issue for me, the challenge is that I get bored- especially with strength work at the gym. I can swim/bike/run all day but put me in a gym with a cookie-cutter routine and I’m over it in a week. Volt has been awesome bc it’s structured, periodized, progressive AND has enough variety week-to-week to keep me engaged. I can’t believe I love an app this much. It’s worth the cost and then some. Besides, health and functional fitness is priceless. It’s been so long since I’ve found a strength training routine, not to mention an App, that can keep up with my demands. I’m feeling fit and strong and the Volt workouts don’t interfere with my Tri specific training. It’s awesome and I love it!
  • Really like it

    By carlvjack
I tried the app before and didn’t care for it because I didn’t care for the exercise selections. I decided to give it another chance and a couple of weeks later I really like it now. I hope Apple Health integration is coming
  • Worst workout I’ve ever had

  • Bad

Charged my account for 3 months without notifying me at all. I deleted the app and it is still charging me.
  • Not for those looking to get in great shape

    By somethinorother
It’s great for those that have access to gyms that have every piece of equipment known to man, but it fails for those that don’t. It’s a great guide to some basic workouts, but anyone serious should look elsewhere. The “swap” component is nice but it should have specific movements that it at least recommends rather than just a giant list of movements that don’t work the muscles in the same way at all.

  • Great but running into some issues.

    By WorkPodCast
I’m trying this app for a month. It’s been really great. But running into some problems. 1: I can’t view historical of the weight reps I did in previous workouts. This should be given. Example: I didn’t add in a hang strength number so the workout didn’t give me weight to do. I did the exercise and added the weight manually. In the workout this week I can’t see the weight I did?? 2: Along with first problem. Would like to see a full detail of what I did (weights and reps) for every workout. 3: If I manually put in a higher weight for an exercise, the history still shows the weight Volt told me to do. This is most frustrating... Please update these. If I’m going to continue paying for subscription this is basic. What I like: 1: Easy to change workouts. 2: Variety if workouts.
