    This app is perfect for those trying to get started with lifting. The coaching cues and demonstrations are helpful to make sure you are lifting with correct form. It also paces you as well, which I know helps me stay on track in a work out. I hope they release a Apple Watch companion app soon though.

    The app breaks down each exercise and it accounts for the rest time and each set, it takes note of how you are feeling the day of the workout and how ready you are for it. It shows each exercise and there's a description for each. Great app!

    I know just about everything I need to know to be an elite runner, except for a legitimate strength program. I’ve looked at cookie cutter programs, but when I discovered Volt I immediately fell in love! I absolutely obsess over new running/fitness technology, and this became my new favorite app. I’ve been using Volt for 6 months now and I have no regrets. This tiny marathoner is now one step closer to the Olympic Trials 💪🏽

    It’s an overall good app. I enjoyed the personalized workouts. However, it does not have an option to connect to the iOS health app (from what I have been able to find) which is a feature I enjoy in other workout apps I have used.

    This app is trash. It gives you workouts that you could easily find online or put together yourself through a little research and doesn’t use any specific goals as far as weight gain, weight loss, or anything in that category. It’s just ask for your weight, height, and what sport you play and puts together a random workout plan. On top of all that, it is an attempt at a scam. I signed up for a free trial and it automatically charged me $75 for a yearly subscription as soon as I signed up (13 days prior to the end of the free trial). If I were oblivious and not paying attention, I would’ve been at a loss for $75. After an hour of talking on the phone with apple support, thankfully they were good enough for me to get a refund, just waiting on it to process. Long story short: don’t get this app, or you will have to be bailed out by Apple, unless you plan on paying $10 a month for a bogus workout plan.

    I use this in conjunction with Stew Smith’s workout plan. Some of the best workouts I have ever had and it is totally worth the price. It’s like having a personal trainer in your back pocket.

  • Great app! Minor suggestions

    Love this app! It makes it so easy to train at the gym. I love lifting, but I can’t afford a personal trainer and having to come up with my own workouts is something I hate doing. Very happy with it. A couple of suggestions: adding an optional 4th workout in the week would be great, I like to lift 4 days a week most weeks if possible. Also, while warmup and core focused sub workouts are available in the app, they are not guided like the full workouts are, which is annoying. It would be nice to be guided through those sections and to have more options available! This is why I gave the app 4 stars over 5. Overall, highly recommend.

    It’s a great app. One complaint is that sometimes my gym does not offer the equipment needed to complete the workouts. I know there is a replacement option, but I like to just do some workouts. Also think it would be cool if under the information button during the workout they added exactly what muscles I’m working out(prefer image, but just listing the muscles would be chill too).
