MEGA MAN 6 MOBILE App Description

The Sixth Chapter in the Mega Man Saga With the formation of the Global Robot Alliance, world peace seems assured at last. But Mr. X, a supporter of the Alliance, subverts eight powerful robots from around the world and uses them in an attempt at global domination! Can Mega Man put a stop to this diabolical plot!? [Caution] ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ・The gameplay and difficulty of this version have been optimized for smartphones, so certain elements will differ from the original game. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ◆New Feature Rush, your faithful dog droid, can now transform into equippable super armor! His two configurations turn you into "Power Mega Man" and "Jet Mega Man." Power Mega Man Charged shots from the powered-up weaponry of this suit can smash certain blocks, and even break through enemy shields! Jet Mega Man With this jet-powered armor, you can fly for as long as your energy gauge holds out! Each armor type is unlocked by completing certain stages. ◆Sliding Controls Hold down + jump while playing to slide. Use this technique to move quickly, dodge attacks, and fit through narrow spaces! ◆Modes This version features a choice of two difficulty modes. ・Normal Mode Unlimited continues. The continue screen is displayed whenever Mega Man dies. Selecting continue allows you to restart from the last checkpoint you passed in the current stage. ・Hard Mode This challenging mode limits your number of continues, and enemy attacks deal more damage. There are also fewer checkpoints within stages. ◆Options The following settings can be adjusted in-game. ・Sound Increase the number to raise the volume. ・Vibration Set to "On" to have your device vibrate when Mega Man takes damage. (Default setting: On) Note: This option will not be displayed on devices with no vibration function. ・Attack Auto: Hold the attack button for rapid-fire Mega Buster shots. Manual: Each press of the attack button fires one Mega Buster shot. Tap repeatedly for rapid-fire shots. (Default setting: Auto) ・Speed Choose between Normal and High to adjust gameplay speed. ・Key Config Change position of the in-game attack button and jump button.

  • DONT BUY!!!! Crashes constantly. Zero stars!!!

Every single time I play this, it crashes at least once. Don’t release a game with a bunch of bugs, hoping we’ll just accept it as it is and not complaining about it. Bad job, guys.
  • Fix the d pad and frame rate

    By Jaso788431468
I bought the whole bundle after seeing one of my favorite games MEGAMAN 6 from my childhood. Mega man 1 was impossible to beat wily with the controls and no energy tanks. The rest are playable although difficult to have fun because your constantly dying from the horrible dpad all the time. While I bought the bundle 6 is the only real one that was fun because the boss difficulty wasn’t ramped up by 10x. MEGAMAN x was great, and that’s what lead me to try. While it was nostalgic, these ports are bad, Capcom obviously just wants $$$ otherwise they would fix it.
  • Not playable without MFi support

    By Ryusui
Seriously? No support for MFi controllers? This game was hard enough on the NES, but on a touchscreen, it’s near impossible to play. How much harder is it to add support for a physical controller? The graphics and sound are amazing - this is a beautiful port from the 8-bit era. But without the controller’s just app store fodder.
  • No controller support

    By Adrian232
I don't understand why this game doesn't have controller support, especially considering version 1 came out less than a year ago. The D-pad on the iPad version is way too big, and the action buttons are too far spaced out to use efficiently. You can switch button configurations, but there are no other options beyond that. The game also uses no touch-optimized controls even when they would make sense (choosing a level, options menu, etc) further confounding why there is no controller support. In addition, the game runs very sluggishly, skipping frames often and feeling very "floaty" on the so-called normal speed. At first I thought this was to give the game more of an authentic 80s console experience, but it was definitely never this bad. In short, this is an incredibly lazy port of a great classic game. Kind of a shame, and I hope they update it to fix these problems (but I don't have my hopes up since this is Capcom we are talking about and the game is like $1, hardly on the top of their priority list).
  • Bad Control and Bad Graphic (not expecting) But..

    This is Rockman.
  • Please release this for Apple TV

    By Txshaner
I bought all six of the games and don't like the virtual controller. Please release this on TVOS so I can use a Bluetooth controller.
  • Speed issues still here

    By F.E.A.R.fan17
It's a perfectly good experience if set to fast for the speed. But it plays so sluggishly when set to normal. Capcom needs to fix this, it's making the game look bad.
  • Garbage

Don't buy this. I thought the frame rate might have been horrible on my 4s but it ran exact same on iPad Air. Mega man X and the old version of mega man 2 run flawless. Capcom, do you really need my $2 that badly?
  • Terrible

This version of the game is the worst that I've ever played. Do not buy.
