Facebook Local App Reviews

  • Was good, now questionable

    By MandyKay6910
This app used to be fantastic, but lately it has stopped showing all events that are available. I live in a small town, so sometimes I like to see all events happening on a specific day, and there have been a few times where I’ve seen numerous events on the Facebook app that don’t show up in this app. Please update, this has so much potential!
  • Very handy

    By JustSigns
I love this app it’s handy to have all events in one space. I would however like to be able to add my events to my google calendar.
  • Was great now not really useful

    By Untoldone
I already have yelp, google maps, Apple maps and others to help me with locations. Loved what the app used to be — doesn’t really help me anymore + has gotten more buggy
  • Bad for business

    By StarCommander90
My business has never received a bad review. I came across it on Facebook local and it says that my business has 3.0 stars. I have double checked google, the Facebook page and any other place that this might impact the low stars shown on the local app and there is no review that is lower than 5 stars. Are you kidding me? Please fix this immediately.
  • Doesn’t do much

    By Keeponfda
Won’t sort well, deselecting categories still shows them in list. Doesn’t have enough categories.
  • Put events calendar back in the dock

    By daroross
I like to be able to see all of my upcoming events at a glance, and burying the events calendar in the profile section is really inconvenient.
  • Calendar feature gone??

    By Sillyappisntfree
The only reason to use this app, to manage your Facebook events is apparently now gone making this app useless.
  • Keeps Getting Worse

    By BurkeKyle
The most recent update moved the calendar, the one feature I use the app for, from the bottom bar to a menu under the profile tab. Also, the lack of an ability to customize what notifications you get from the app is annoying.
  • Great in theory, needs improvement

    By JerseyViolet
Now that I’ve discovered this app, I can delete my FB app. Between this and messenger, that’s all the FB features I use. The ONLY thing the actual FB app has over Local is being able to add events directly to my Calendar app. That doesn’t make any sense at all. To echo what I’ve seen in other comments, the ability to customize notifications would also be wonderful. For now I do the same as with Facebook: I turn them off.
  • No info on what they’re updating
