    This is the first time I’ve ever written a review for an app, and I’m writing because I think it’s a travesty they don’t have more reviews!!! This is the absolute best meal planning app I’ve ever used and I do not know how I ever lived without it! I’ve been using Lighter for about a month now, and absolutely LOVE it! Every single recipe is simple, quick, easy, and DELICIOUS! Their pad Thai literally tastes like restaurant pad Thai, but is faster than delivery (!!) and infinitely more healthy. I love that you can adjust serving sizes for each recipe so you never make more (or less) than you need, and you never overspend on groceries because you know exactly how much food you’ll need throughout the week. I can literally meal plan for the week sitting in my car in the parking lot just clicking the pictures I like, and have a perfectly populated grocery list ready to go in minutes. It has saved me SO much time and SO much money! I prefer a plant based diet, but my husband has long been a “meat and potatoes” type. He was dubious of vegan recipes (he’s a crossfit coach who “needs” lots of meat), but even he has RAVED about just about everything we’ve made. Sometimes we’ll add in chicken or cheese to fit his taste, but the recipes are amazing on their own. Since using lighter we’ve both had more energy, slept better, felt better, had better athletic performance, and lost some of our residual fat gained over the winter months. No doubt this is due to the excellent nutrition I think this app provides as well as helping us DRASTICALLY cut down on how often we eat out. I really cannot say enough about how much I love it - have already recommended to nearly all of my friends!

    This has been exactly what I needed! Every time I thought about going plant-based, I would look up menu plans and everything was a major recipe for all meals. I need something that I can throw together and eat on the run, especially breakfast. And dinner has to be ready in a reasonable amount of time, otherwise I will go through the drive thru. :/ I just finished my 1st week using this app and found all the recipes easy to make in the real world and really good!! Just finished a delicious sandwich made with hummus, cashews, basil, spinach and tomato. Super easy!! The only recommendation I have is to allow for repeats during the week. For example if I want to eat this sandwich a couple days, I can't add it to the grocery list so that it multiplies the ingredients for me. Otherwise, best tool to start eating a healthy plant based diet!!

    I opted for the free version to try out I don't think I would want to pay bc well I have tons of recipe books But this is exactly why I like the app and got it is bc it has a free option I had another app that I used to pay for which pretty much is same as this and I cancelled bc to me it's not worth it. To me wasting money that I really shouldn't and can't be. I don't really have extra money to throw around. My money needs to be for bills, diapers, food, and what my son needs. And food for the 2 dogs and cat. It's sad that people want you to pay to be healthy or try to. Dr Michael Gregger is a great man I believe he really wants to hange the world from the heart and unlike most doctors isn't in it for the money and just plain greedy I read his book How not to die and I gave up meat and poultry The only thing I haven't been able to give up is regular pizza 😳 I'm new to all this so baby steps and I never would have changed if it weren't for the book This man I believe is changing so many lives And there may be eggs in the ingredients of some of my child's snacks My child still have meat on weekends bc if my hubby otherwise during week I try as best as I can to feed him healthy He is only 1 1/2 so he is in the super picky stage The only way to get him to eat veggies is in a veggie/fruit smoothie I'm struggling with snacks for him bc well I am not rich my son is extremely picky and could live off of black bean pasta, ezekial products, granola, and soy nuggets If I made him any of these recipes I would have food thrown at my face, on the floor and to the dogs lol I will keep trying So again thank you for this free app and making it possible for people with kids that do not have that much money or on a budget to learn how to cook and eat healthy. I am excited to receive his cooking book that I pre ordered. But some people can't even fit a book into their budget I really can't thank Dr Michael Gregger enough for trying to really make a difference

    The recipes are all so great and hearty!! Some of them, even though being 1 serving, are pretty large and there's leftovers. All in all I like this app a lot. Thanks!
