GRE Daily Vocabulary App Description

Having strong vocabulary skills is a crucial element of success on the GRE test! Every day, we will provide you with an Economist passage that features a common GRE vocabulary word, plus its synonyms and definition. Experts recommend reading vocabulary in context rather than cramming definitions, and The Economist is one of the publications most frequently cited for doing so. You can save words to review later and flip through our archive to see words from past days. This app is best used in combination with the full Economist GRE Tutor program, which utilizes adaptive learning technology to provide top tier practice for every topic on the GRE. Our goal is to help you achieve your target score on the GRE exam, and help you gain admission into the grad school of your choice!

GRE Daily Vocabulary App Reviews

  • Good content, outdated UI

    By 86sd
The content is good and example sentences are well-chosen, but they don’t link to the original article in which the sentence appeared. But this app needs a serious update. The best resolution UI is from iPhone 4. On an iPad pro it looks pixelated.

  • Superb vocabulary list

Love the app, just needs pronunciation included in definition.
  • Really enjoy it so far, but...

    By Crackmonkey91
I feel that for a vocabulary app it is missing a key feature. Actual pronunciations of the words. With that feature it would be a 5 Star app in my eyes.
  • Useful for quick studies

Could be improved by offering a way to practice or test comprehension.
