  • Circle of death...

    I stream other major type services but for some reason the only one I have an issue with is Direct T.V. Streaming application. I can’t watch more than 3 minutes at a time with the app crashing. What good is it if I can’t even watch T.V. I had a service tech come out to check to see if it was my internet... nope sure wasn’t. Something is wrong with the application. Nothing like $50.00 later.

    Logins won’t work and demands to know your location so ads can take over your phone. I ALREADY GIVE YOU CHUMPS TONS OF MONEY WHY DO I HAVE TO GIVE YOU MY LOCATION?!??
  • Absolute Garbage

    I was okay with this app, BEFORE the latest updates. The updates changed the background color of every page, including the guide to a blinding, bright, white color. I can’t even read the text that’s overlaying the bright backgrounds. They even changed the sleek looking old black app icon to a white color. These white backgrounds are extremely hard on the eyes, especially if you’re trying to watch something or view the guide in a dark room. I’m convinced that whoever designed this app has absolutely no experience with iOS app design or cable TV. This app is like something designed by an elementary school student building their first science project. It’s a total disaster. It’s unreliable, hard to navigate, not one bit user-friendly. Most of all though, I’m canceling my subscription due to the white backgrounds in the latest update. It’s like trying to stare at the sun. If they bring back the black backgrounds, I might reconsider using this service. But, for now, if you want a reliable, well-designed, user-friendly streaming app/service, keep looking. DirecTV Now is the worst I’ve seen. However, if you do decide to give it a try, against my recommendations, put your sunglasses on. The bright, white backgrounds on the guide and every other page will burn out your retinas. Very disappointed!
  • Video freezes or just totally crashes

    App on both iPad and Apple TV constantly has video freezing and sometimes just completely crashing. If this keeps up I will not be renewing. It was great the first few months but not any longer
  • I give it solid three or so

    I would give the app a solid three love the app but there are so many things a update can 1 fix the bugs 2 make it to where we don’t have to have buffering all the time 3 update the app to where we don’t have to have internet to watch the shows and movies we want And one more thing just keep updates coming so we can enjoy the app

    App load times are significantly slower, guide takes way too long to load. Very unsatisfied, functionality is comparable to Sling before I switched to DirectvNOW. This needs to be fixed; I am considering canceling.

    This is the best thing at&t has done in a really long time. Way more channels than sling or YouTube AND locals AND DVR. I would say the last guy was mostly the last review was mostly right, but mostly everything has been fixed in the app. Interface is extremely smooth, especially on Apple TV. It’s a better experience than even premium tv service in my opinion. Well done!
  • Horrid on every level

  • So frustrating

    This app is so frustrating. Multiple times while watching a view-on-demand episode, the thing freezes and then rewinds itself 15 minutes or more. Of course, I can’t fast forward or jump back to the place I actually was in the episode, so I’m forced to either rewatch the episode from that point or give up. For reals, AT&T? You literally have a zillion dollars. Spend a few on making a bug-free app. I’m very close to giving up on DirectvNow forever...
