  • Love it!

I love my Sprocket. It is easy and fun to use. I enjoy decorating and printing pics for family and friends. A small picture keepsake for big events or small.
  • App won’t connect to printer

    By m00n_daddy
Really sad I won’t be able to use my sprocket printer anymore. I used to use it all the time but just recently I tried to connect the app to the printer and I can’t make it past the “get connected” set up screen. It’s unable to pair with the printer even though I’m paired on my Bluetooth and I’ve already clicked “allow” when it asked me for permission. The “searching for printer” screen on the app stays up forever because it can’t find it. Which makes me think the issue is with the app. I can’t really trouble shoot because I can’t make it past the screen. Already restarted the printer and the app etc. guess I’ll be throwing the printer away RIP

If u want some cool things and fun stuff to put in ur pics before printing it its absolutely there and the pics are good quality too. Fyi this is not the printer u gonna have if u want some professional outcome. This is all for cuteness overload😄

The HP Sprocket is an amazing gift/purchase! I received this for my Birthday and I love it !! It’s so easy to print pictures and the little add on’s are amazing!! I have not yet had any bugs or problems so far. I recommend the Sprocket for ages 8 & up b/c it’s a little complicated at first and I think a small child would get confused. It was an amazing purchase!!! ❤️👍🏽😄

So, it worked for maybe 5 pictures and now it won’t turn on. Also, I don’t know if it starts to print or not till three minutes later. I kinda feel ripped off.
  • Great Device but application lacks.

First and foremost the HP Sprocket devices are really cool and I did a lot of research prior to purchasing. I still believe the Sprocket Plus is the better pocket printer for the price, on the market. Some pros: 1.)Device offers sticker backed, semi gloss paper, for printing on the go. 2.) The Sprocket and Sprocket Plus both fit in a pocket size compartment for travel and carrying. Allowing for- 3.) Bluetooth pairing on the go. 4.) With wide compatibility it allows for and array of devices to connect. Cons: 1.)close but no cigar.. Where is the black in the photos???? The contrast does not properly match the applications preview of the photo. This is also an upset because it might be a printing limitation for the hardware of the device. At least the Sprocket Plus. So firmware may not be able to repair this issue. 2.) The printout cuts off 1-3% of the photo from the application’s print preview screen. So technically any time you add a border to a photo the outer edges of the photo in the preview, will not be printed. 3.) Not much use for professional/every day usage. These photo stickers have thousands of potential applications to every day life, why are there not stickers and features to prove it?! Overall, this is a pretty decent application with some major flaws still, but the device makes up for it..mostly...mostly. There are still many applications for the device and the prints to be seen. Hewlett Packard must seek to take advantage of in order to keep selling this product to new markets and customers. After all, when you bought this product, were you offered any kind of compatibility with 3rd party software in the directions to help you use the device differently? No Therefore, we must assume that this was not a free application, but a paid for application for those who are the owners of the Sprocket... just sayin. After receiving feedback regarding my concerns mentioned above, the developers responded with tips and tricks that I know will make a difference with my problems I’ve had. I’m thankful for their feedback and assistance. Therefore I’m changing my star rating to 5 stars, based upon their customer service and application support alone.
