Pokémon GO App Description

Pokémon GO has now introduced social and trading features that allow Trainers to connect with each other by adding friends, sending Gifts, and participating in a new Friendship level system that unlocks bonuses. Trainers can now trade Pokémon with other Trainers nearby, earning a Candy Bonus for the Pokémon received. Join Trainers across the globe who are discovering Pokémon as they explore the world around them. Pokémon GO is the global gaming sensation that has been downloaded over 800 million times and named "Best Mobile Game" by The Game Developers Choice Awards and "Best App of the Year" by TechCrunch. Venusaur, Charizard, Blastoise, Pikachu, and many other Pokémon have been discovered! Pokémon are out there, and you need to find them. As you walk around a neighborhood, your smartphone will vibrate when there’s a Pokémon nearby. Take aim and throw a Poké Ball… You’ll have to stay alert, or it might get away! Search far and wide for Pokémon and items Certain Pokémon appear near their native environment—look for Water-type Pokémon by lakes and oceans. Visit PokéStops and Gyms—found at interesting places like museums, art installations, historical markers, and monuments—to stock up on Poké Balls and helpful items. Catching, hatching, evolving, and more As you level up, you’ll be able to catch more-powerful Pokémon to complete your Pokédex. You can add to your collection by hatching Pokémon Eggs based on the distances you walk. Help your Pokémon evolve by catching many of the same kind. Choose a Buddy Pokémon to walk with and earn Candy that will help you make your Pokémon stronger. Compete in epic Gym battles You’ll join one of three teams and battle for the ownership of Gyms with your Pokémon at your side. As your Charmander evolves to Charmeleon and then Charizard, you can battle together to defeat a Gym and assign your Pokémon to defend it against all comers. Team up to defeat powerful Raid Bosses A Raid Battle is a cooperative gameplay experience that encourages you to work with up to 20 other Trainers to defeat an extremely powerful Pokémon known as the Raid Boss. If you succeed in defeating it in battle, you’ll have the chance to catch an extra powerful Pokémon of your own! It’s time to get moving—your real-life adventures await! Pokémon GO App Reviews

  • This Game Will Scam You Out of Your Money

    By Momma Shane
As the title says, this game is nothing but a cash grabbing RNG SCAM! They take your hopes and dreams, have it roll in a ball 2/3 times so you think you can catch the Raid Boss Aloha Riachu that you and your girlfriend fought for 15 minutes together WHICH SHE WAS ABLE TO CATCH, but god forbid the little NICE/GREAT messages when you land the ball dead center in the circle mean anything, because the pokemon will still break out like you PUT A TERASAURAUS REX INSIDE OF A CARDBOARD BOX! Anyway currently reinstalling the game.
  • It’s ok but still needs fixing

    By whynot
I play Pokémon Go a lot so I decided to get in on my iPad but it said when I got it that it won’t work on my device and I can’t play it on my iPad only on a phone. I know that they do that on a lot of games but I just really would like to play a game on any device, otherwise it’s a great game but it still has some bugs that you guys should fix
  • Bad Pokémon catching

    By noibat 101
I hate the new way to catch Pokémon. I hate it because you have to stand still and not keep on walking and the Pokémon flee more often.
  • AR

    By Fuiheankigf
They completely ruined the game with the mandatory AR mode to catch Pokémon. I play on the go and it’s inconvenient to have to stop walking and stupidly record the plane just to find a Pokémon, not to mention the size and distance of the Pokémon when you finally find it is in proportional and just an unnecessary addition. And I was excited to play with Gen 4 and now it’s ruined
  • New bugs with update

    By Jasmine0704
Please fix your update. There was no choice but to update and now every time I open it, it has a black screen. Super frustrating because now I’m going to miss all the events coming up. Was looking forward to the egg event on Sunday. FIX IT!!

  • Pokémon are very hard to find

    By davey 01

  • Update 1.91.1, black screen; Update 1.91.2

    By Terra O
Third update to review below, to now include forced game update 1.91.2 “Bug Fixes”: Which bugs did Update 1.91.2 fix? The black screen upon loading is still happening, to the degree that I’m having to exit and re-enter the game multiple times, in rapid succession, to get in. So far, the record is eight, this morning, two days after these so called “bug fixes” were implemented. Second update to review below: Two days in, the black screen upon loading is still a thing. I have to exit and re-enter several times to get into the game. The game freezes upon catching a Pokémon about 30% of the time. The cherry on top of the cake, today, was going in to heal a couple of my ‘mons after a raid and finding all of my Blisseys and Chanseys needing to be healed. I hadn’t used a single one of them raiding, battling, or gym defense, but I had to use a bunch of potion to heal them all the same. Granted, it was just the giveaway purple potion and it did help me free up some space in my bag. Regardless, please fix these glitches and stop creating new ones. Update to the review below: Still getting the black screen upon loading, even after the clean install. Way to go, Niantic! It seems having to do a clean install is now the norm after every major update. With Update 1.91.1, the screen went black and the game froze as soon as it was loaded. Tried several times, rebooted the phone, nothing. Deleted and reinstalled the game, it works. Why does this keep happening? I am a dedicated Level 40 player. I love the game. The consistently bug ridden app, however, will never earn more than one star from me until all the bugs are fixed rather than new (and worse) ones being added with each update.
