Pokémon GO App Description

Pokémon GO has now introduced the Trainer Battles feature. Enjoy one-on-one Pokémon battles with other Trainers nearby, or practice battling against team leaders Spark, Candela, and Blanche! Trainers can earn rewards for participating in battle and show off exciting Pokémon skills in one of three different Trainer Battle Leagues. Join Trainers across the globe who are discovering Pokémon as they explore the world around them. Pokémon GO is the global gaming sensation that has been downloaded over 850 million times and named "Best Mobile Game" by The Game Developers Choice Awards and "Best App of the Year" by TechCrunch. Venusaur, Charizard, Blastoise, Pikachu, and many other Pokémon have been discovered! Pokémon are out there, and you need to find them. As you walk around a neighborhood, your smartphone will vibrate when there’s a Pokémon nearby. Take aim and throw a Poké Ball… You’ll have to stay alert, or it might get away! Search far and wide for Pokémon and items Certain Pokémon appear near their native environment—look for Water-type Pokémon by lakes and oceans. Visit PokéStops and Gyms—found at interesting places like museums, art installations, historical markers, and monuments—to stock up on Poké Balls and helpful items. Catching, hatching, evolving, and more As you level up, you’ll be able to catch more-powerful Pokémon to complete your Pokédex. You can add to your collection by hatching Pokémon Eggs based on the distances you walk. Help your Pokémon evolve by catching many of the same kind. Choose a Buddy Pokémon to walk with and earn Candy that will help you make your Pokémon stronger. Compete in epic Gym battles You’ll join one of three teams and battle for the ownership of Gyms with your Pokémon at your side. As your Charmander evolves to Charmeleon and then Charizard, you can battle together to defeat a Gym and assign your Pokémon to defend it against all comers. Team up to defeat powerful Raid Bosses A Raid Battle is a cooperative gameplay experience that encourages you to work with up to 20 other Trainers to defeat an extremely powerful Pokémon known as the Raid Boss. If you succeed in defeating it in battle, you’ll have the chance to catch an extra powerful Pokémon of your own! It’s time to get moving—your real-life adventures await! • Family Function??

    By Sparkly Unicorn🦄
So I was eating lunch at freddys with my dad and I had my phone out so I could catch some Pokémon, I caught 7 or 8. Dad was interested In what I was doing so I showed him the game. He really liked it and said he might get it so I’m trying to figure out how to do the family function that ninantic so briefly described in the bio of the game but I can’t figure out how to do it. Anybody know how so dad and I could play together???
  • Walking distances

    By batman0214
You guys have got a bug issue with the walking distances. 5km is 3.1 miles. On multiple occasions i have walked more than that and still barely broke “1.2km”. I get it. It’s a free app etc etc. but if i am going to walk that far to accomplish something i expect something close. Not a big difference on what i actually did.
  • The old version was better

    By PrettyRandomPanda
Seriously I used to have this in 2018 but noooooo! I redownloaded it today and you know what? Everything went smooth until I had to get a starter. I tried to catch Squirtle but as soon as I hit it with the poke ball it said “Item can’t be used at this time.” (26) I will give 5 stars if this is fixed.

Can you make it to where you can walk all over the map without having to get up !!??
  • Software glitches

    By Dani Elaine
There have been numerous times that I have defeated a raid boss and the game either does not let me use all the poke balls I have to attempt to catch it or after every poke ball I throw at it it ends up breaking out or running away.
  • Snapshot AR+ FIX IT

    By FaithCross
These things are horrible. Should instantly recognize better. Its not letting place pokemon down too. Make it better to actually work right. And the too close thing shouldnt be possible which makes it really worse. Have a zoom feature on the pkmn to make it bigger or smaller.
  • Great game, love how they are continuing updates

    By Matt7354
One of the few games with regular events and updates. If you can see past the few flaws of strange releases and RNG rare Pokémon, it is quite fun.
  • Need to be moving

What 9 year old can drive to different locations?
  • Trading done right!

    By CJ&Bj
Trading really makes this game. Now that I am getting a strong team ( say Machamp ) I can donate my old team ( say Hariyama ) to friends to help them out. Since you need to be Ultra friends ( 30+ days playing with each other ) for the best trading, strangers can not sweet talk youngsters into bad deals, severely reducing bad, or fraudulent, trades. Community Days add lots of useful Pokémon, and their shiny, to reduce black markets in those Pokémon ( they are plentiful and available just limited time). Flashback December Community Day is brilliant for all the above reasons. I missed one Community Day due to illness ( Larvitar ), but December’s let me get some to trade for the missed ones, especially shiny. Now that you can get lots of good Pokémon, and shiny, through trade or Community Days, you have a great selection for GO Snapshots which is a cool feature if you have cool Pokémon. Just took a picture with a shiny Squirtle squad Pokémon, and it looks fabulous!! HUGS 💕HUGS 💕HUGS 💕HUGS 💕HUGS 💕HUGS 💕HUGS 💕HUGS 💕HUGS 💕HUGS 💕HUGS 💕HUGS 💕HUGS 💕HUGS 💕HUGS 💕HUGS 💕HUGS 💕HUGS 💕
  • I like Pokémon go

    By Princess Peach🐱🐱🐱
The reason why I like it is because when my brothers play it keeps me relaxed and I have 5 brothers. I think there should be mor legendary Pokémon. I am at level 36 and I haven’t got any legendary Pokemon. I think you should make it non glitchy. Every time I open the game it starts to glitch. I don’t know if it’s my phone or not. 🍩🍩🍩🍫🍾🍭🍭🍸🍾🥂🍭🍺🍸🍹🍾🍬🍾🍬🍾🥜🍾🌰🍾🍾🌰🌰🍹🍹🥜🍸🍫🧦🐶🐭🐱
