BassForecast App Description

BassForecast is the hottest Bass fishing forecast app. In our Pro Angler catch rate study, 68% more Bass were caught per hour than the average during top 20% BassForecast Rated days and a whopping 305% more during top 10% rated days. Designed exclusively for avid Bass Anglers and powered by AccuWeather, BassForecast analyzes many variables proven to affect Bass feeding behavior to produce a BassForecast Rating (BFR) from 1 (very tough conditions) to 10 (excellent conditions), for each day over the next 10 days…for any location in the United States. Knowing the feeding mood of the fish helps you in 2 big ways: #1 – Our rating system helps you plan 10 days in advance to be fishing during the highest rated days, which increases your odds. #2 – Our new Tips section helps you figure out bass catching patterns faster…even on low rated, tough days. How many times have you left the lake wondering what you could have done differently? BassForecast Tips offers Location, Presentation and Bait Tips dynamically adjusted to each day’s conditions, rating and season. Most importantly, BassForecast automatically updates its Ratings and Tips based on changing weather forecasts & conditions. Just enter your desired fishing locations and BassForecast does all the work for you. To develop its proprietary BassForecast Rating system, BassForecast researched temperature transfer reports from water engineers and bass feeding behavior research reports from fishery biologists. The system analyzes past actual and future forecast temperatures applying the Temperature Time Lag Effect© because water temps LAG air temps. It also adjusts for seasonal hours of daylight, wind speed & direction, moon phases, peak feeding periods, sky conditions, rain….and atmospheric frontal conditions since Bass feed more actively during a rapidly falling barometer and less actively following a rapidly rising barometer. Everything you need to plan the most effective Bass fishing trip are in this app! • Doesn’t help

    By basscat416
This app seems to follow the lunar charts. The lures and locations it suggests are basic knowledge for an intermediate fisherman. If it cost anything I’d not spend the money. But it’s fun to compare how a fishing trip went to what the app said
  • Why

So I’m not sure if this is a new update but I used to be able to check what lures to use for that day but now I half to upgrade to the “membership” to see what lures and how fast to work them. Was this just a bug or a new update.

have had this app for over 4 yrs, got the new upgrade for it ,now I can't get the lure section n the bottom right. they keep pushing to spend $9.99 or get it later and no matter how many times you hit later it will not let you go to the lure section. Going to look for a new app now.
  • Don’t upgrade

The latest version requires payment to see what used to be free. What a scam!!!
  • Man this is some crap

I paid 9.99 for premium and it still does not work it says that I’m not a premium subscription and it’s slow.
  • Great app, but dropped rating for removing previous features.

This app is the easiest to use out of all the fishing weather pattern apps. The free version even used to give you information on which land features to fish and what baits to use. With the new update, this has been taken away and only allowed for paid subscribers. I’ll probably pay for the subscription since it’s only $10/year (as of June 2019) and I enjoy the app, but had to drop the rating because taking away key features without notice was pretty annoying.
  • Triton 250

Good informative app. The one thing I would like to see is actually make the feeding times match a clock phase. When I see 6:00 am I should see it at the bottom and not to the left out of place

  • No map

    By bassguy49
All the locations I put and it shows the same generic map and same areas to look at. “Spawning areas”, “migration routes”, “secondary points”. I was expecting at the least a map of the lake. Maybe give it a few days but not impressed at all.
  • No lakes pull up.

Any way all or customers can add lakes so we didn’t pay $10 for nothing???
