I have been playing this game for about a year and a half. I can’t say it hasn’t been fun, and I have met some nice people from around the world. However, I am now contemplating giving it up. Here is why. I’m one of those “rare” players that have only spent .99 cents just so that I could use the bank. I refuse to spend a dime more. I am a level 24 mainly because I have always been in one of the smaller alliances that can’t really protect me or help me grow faster. Part of the fun for me was growing my city in spite of the roaming “pricks” that ignore kingdom rules and go around stealing resources from smaller alliances outside of the designated “killing Periods” set by the leader of the kingdom. Now, there is a level 35 who is hell bent on running everyone out of the game and he has a level 40 (who is the leader of the kingdom) that protects him. I have finally come to realize the KOA is not going to do anything to rectify the unrealistic inequalities that are now occurring on a regular basis. For this reason, I see myself playing less and less now. I really don’t think I can recommend this game to any serious strategy gamers. It’s probably best to steer clear of this game. Sorry!

  • New Update

If you want to compete in the new update. Be ready to fork over 35,000 dollars. And know that your competition in China on a special program will only be spending 7,200 dollars. Think about it.
  • You don’t have to buy banners

You don’t have to buy prestige banners If you have a decent alliance that holds spirit ceremonies you can earn thousands of banners just do the spirit ceremonies in the spirit smoked used to complete those ceremonies is free.

It’s a fun game, but you can only be competitive if you’re willing to spend thousands of dollars. Every time you get strong they put out a new update with things you have to buy. It’s a frustrating money trap. If you’re not wealthy or willing to drop a lot of money, best to avoid this game.
  • Seriously needs a revamp!

I enjoying playing this game for the people I’ve met. If your looking for a strategy game this is not the game. The defense vs attack is poor. One attack from the same level as you or 1 or 2 levels higher and your zeroed. What fun is that? You work months and months to build your castle and troops and then one day your hit and back to square 1. Would be nice to be able to shield your troops without having to buy a shield daily like in other games such as Elves and dwarves where you can just hide them. This is a spenders game. Unfortunately I can’t afford to spend what it takes to keep up or defend myself.

    No arrow bad game
  • Don’t bother

    By largechubguy
Don’t bother with this game. You have no chance as a new player. You get constantly raided by super high level Chinese players (typically 2-5x your level) who teleport around uninhibited and can buy gold at cheaper prices than you can in the us.
