Mutual - LDS Dating App Description

Mutual is the largest and fastest growing LDS dating app! Mutual is a place where LDS singles can make meaningful connections that lead to real dating. The app was created by BYU grads who know how difficult it can be to meet others with similar interests and standards, especially outside of Provo. Mutual offers features that help you get to know other single Mormons beyond their profile photos, by highlighting information such as mission location, mutual friends, and interests you share in common with potential matches. The Mutual team is committed to upholding the standards of our faith, and making Mutual a genuine and safe place you can trust. Everyone is required to sign in through Facebook to ensure people are who they claim to be, and all profiles get reviewed by one of our LDS team-members before entering our community. We also make it easy to report inappropriate behavior in the app, to maintain a positive environment for everyone. In the words of Brigham Young, "This is the place." MUTUAL UP - MORE FEATURES Upgrade to Mutual Up for access to exclusive new features, including: Ward Hop to change your location and match around the world, Unlimited Double Takes to undo past swipes, Ninja Mode to go invisible to everyone except people you swipe up on, and Daily Notes to stand out and increase your chance of matching. ------------------- Mutual is free to use, but if you choose to purchase Mutual Up, payment will be charged to your iTunes account, and your account will be charged for renewal within 24-hours prior to the end of the current period. Auto-renewal may be turned off at any time by going to your settings in the iTunes Store after purchase. Current Mutual Up subscription price starts at $9.99 USD/month. • Not bad for scoring yourself a babe

I have no reason to hate this, it's useful for seeing if someone likes you. But also I do wish you could look up people on here, and swipe them from there.

App is faulty...not receiving messages and messages sent are not being received. Probably would be a good app if this was fixed.
  • A Disgrace.

Sooooo many glitches on my iPhone X. I even upgraded to the mutual UP, had to delete my account and make a new one. I don’t have my benefits anymore that I paid for! I contacted the developer and they just told me to screw off. The stole my money! DO NOT PAY FOR THIS!!!!!

  • Superficial

The app is alright, but nothing crazy. It’s stupid that you have to pay to be able to send a note to a girl or swipe back if you accidentally skipped someone. My money is standing in the way of finding The One haha. Also, I’ve found girls on here are super superficial. I’ve matched with several girls I found attractive to be disappointed when they never respond. The worst thing is when I’ve been able to have a great conversation with a girl only to be ghosted after a day. Seems like a lot of the girls on here are NOT interested in dating, and only want to be told how cute and darling they are just to ghost the guy that was adoring them. News to females, please have a soul and don’t be insensitive
  • Good in theory, buggy in practice

I’ve had this app for about two months and my “About Me” section has not changed since my initial time writing something, even though I have tried to change it multiple times. I contacted Customer Service about the issue almost a month ago and they responded saying they were releasing an updated version of the app to fix the issue soon—but it hasn’t happened yet. I also find it weird that matches expire after a week. I know many people who go places where they won’t be on the app for a week or so and they miss out on the matches that happen while they are gone. Maybe giving matches a month before they expire to allow people enough time to message each other.
  • This is NOT okay.

Whoever runs this app must have a personal grudge against me or something. I am beyond blown away, and NOT in a good way. Weeks ago, I made an account on Mutual and started “swiping”. There were a lot of very handsome and nice looking guys that I was interested in. Quite a few of them I hadn’t seen on Bumble or Tinder, and I was super excited for the potential opportunity to interact with them. After swiping for a good half hour or so, I got off the app. A day or so went by, and I had received no notifications from the app. When I opened it up again, a screen immediately popped up that said I had been “permanently banned” from using the app. Ummm...why? The message said to contact them if you thought there was a mistake. I emailed them weeks ago, and have not heard back. I had NOTHING inappropriate or anything I thought would ever, in a million years, get a profile “permanently banned”. I saw at least 10 guys on the app that had piercings, tattoos, etc. I have noooo freaking idea why they banned me. If something was “wrong” with my profile, shouldn’t they at least have sent me a friendly message asking me to change it or something? I have literally never taken the time to write out a review, but this app deserves it. There needs to be a review option for giving zero stars. Considering this app is for Mormons, shouldn’t they be a little more Christlike? Ha. 🙄
  • I think is fake

    By Romerista
So I been doing a investigation for work about dating apps and it seems like this one of those that have fake profiles from 500 profiles u match with like 3 or 4 people the rest of them are fake or they don’t use them
