  • Missing a TON of Android features

    By DeeEsq
I loved this email app on Android and only feel so-so about it on iOS. Where are all of the Android features?
  • Collapsible and Expandable Folders!!!

    By biigbiird
This is the only email app for iPhone that I could find that has this capability. I have hundreds of folders that I need to dig through. On Android, most email apps I used could expand and collapse, which saved me from having to scroll through all kinds of folders and sub folders. For some reason, the other iOS email apps don’t have that capability, which make them unusable. Nine email is the best!!!
  • Constantly stops pushing notifications

The app will randomly stop giving alerts of new email and you have to open the app and refresh to see all the “missed” mail!
  • Disappointment

I have the android version of nine and was very happy with it. I’ve since gone back to IOS and was surprised there was now A version to support iPhones. However I need the task and notes sync which is missing. Yes I know I can use other apps for those but I liked having everything in one app. I don’t mind the purchase price if everything was there but think I will pass for now. The developer contacted me about the missing features that I desire and mentioned they could be coming in the next year. I will did end up buying the lifetime version in spite of the missing features because I just like the way it handles everything else compared to Native Email or MS Outlook email. I’ll keep my fingers crossed for the updates.
  • Crashes during application launch

We’ve been using the app for over a year have started experiencing annoying and crippling problems within one of the recent patches on iOS (not android). I have employees with different models of iPhones using this app, and it doesn’t make a difference. The app works correctly for a short time, and eventually, it will crash every single time at the authentication portion of getting into the app. An uninstall/reinstall fixes the problem for a very brief time. Looking into new mail applications.
  • iPhone on lock screen

It’s not giving me notifications on lock screen, so frustrating!
  • Push not working

    By NissimA
I was on Android for years and just switched to iPhone. I love Nine on Android, but the iOS experience isn’t great. Push will not work and only updates once I open the app. Lack of features. At lease fix push notifications as I really want to use the app...
  • So far so good.

Used this application on android for work and loved it. Seems to work much better than the default email app and outlook. Finally I can push folders and get notifications.
  • Very promising, needs improvement

First, Nine email is my absolute favorite email client for Android. When I saw this for iOS I was very excited. Frankly, my following complaints are most likely due to iOS but here goes. First: I experience frequent out of sync issues. Emails showing as unread and actually read on my PC. I have to manually mark them as read on the Nine email app. Second: emails are delayed or do not actually PUSH. Some days things work great, others not. I'll open the app and I'm flooded with new emails. I'll check the default iOS Mail app no issues. Granted this is a common occurrence with other iOS mail apps. Suggestions: Allow default browser and maps selection. Allow for either a separate calendar app or allow for a shortcut icon on home screen. I have high hopes for this app and the continued development. Already spent the money for lifetime subscription. Keep up the good work.
  • Push not working consistently

I have used this app on Android for years and it has been solid. I recently got an iPhone to replace my android and this was the first app I installed. I am currently on the trial period since I could not transfer my android license over. As of right now I will NOT be purchasing this app. I am constantly not getting new emails via PUSH. I have the iOS mail client co figured as well and that works without issue. I can’t use this app with fear that I will not be notified that I received an email message unless doing a manual refresh. I have uninstalled the app and reinstalled with the same issue. Also I have had to re logon to my office 365 account a few times in the past few days. For some reason this app is not keeping the connection to my office 365 account. I am happy to keep the app on my phone until it is all fixed and then pay but unfortunately once the trial ends the app becomes useless to me and I will uninstall. I get error -5508 a lot
