  • Obviously I’m a History Buff, But This App Still Needs Work

    By SongDuck™
Being from the History Channel, I expected a much better user experience. For example, there is no search feature. I’ll keep it to the end of my monthly subscription. If the app is still not improved, I’m afraid I’ll have to cancel.
  • Absolutely Love it but

I REALLY want a watchlist , like “my videos” but I don’t need to download them. There is so much content I want to be able to put things on a list so I can remember. ....also right now the app won’t stop crashing tho since the update
  • App says I need to subscribe and I already do

    By bristp
To whom it may concern. I paid for a full subscription but when I try to access content, it directs me to the screen to pay for a subscription even though I already have one. It’s a vicious cycle and it doesn’t work. Whoever is the app developer reach out to me to fix this problem.
  • Thanks for nothing

    By Nathan 1492
I was excited to see some of the older history channel shows and that I could finally stream them. I signed up got a free week was 100% wanting to pay monthly for the service but after I signed up through iTunes it won’t let me sign in. The app keeps telling me my email is wrong but when I try to set up a new one it keeps telling me I’ve already set up an account. I never got to set a password. Plus usually when I subscribe through iTunes I can just restore a subscription purchase. What am I doing wrong?
  • Keeps saying start trial period after i sign in wont play anything

    By Levik71
I have tried everything. I downloaded the app and signed up for the 7 day trial. Linked it to my itunes and now it wont load at all it just keeps going back to the same signup for trial page. Even though im already signed in and shows that im “subscribed” . Absolute trash a 4 year old could program code better.
  • Love this app

    By Pinoy dancer
I love this app because I love history. I wish they would continue to add more Presidential history videos. I also wish they didn’t get rid of some of the series. I don’t see “How the States Got Their Shapes” anymore. I’ve been meaning to watch it, but it disappeared. I like that I can “search” specific historical categories. Hope they can add more and keep the videos in the vault and not get rid of them. Thanks! Otherwise, I think it’s a resourceful app! I also hope you can update the “History Here” app. It doesn’t seem to work anymore. I think it stopped working when I updated my iPhone. Thanks for any help with that. Hope someone can update.
  • Terrific source of both entertainment and education!

    By Alknight
I have been a subscriber of History Vault ever since H2, also known as History International, went offline from cable and satellite. A number of years. Thoroughly enjoy and constantly share the information from this app. Rated for basic cable television, so safe for young people. History Vault gives access to new programs as well as classic favorites. And it has the distinction of varying some categories to fit Holidays and seasons throughout the year. The only fault I can find, and it is a minor inconvenience at most, is that the streaming device version does not automatically start the next program after the existing show has ended. The version for mobile devices though does not have this very minor flaw. Definitely two thumbs up from this viewer who Minored in History as a college student.
  • Better Than Netflix + Hulu combined

    By TheJesseLippold
If your goal is mindless entertainment, then get yourself Hulu and Netflix. If you want you and your kids to grow and learn, get this.
  • Smarter workouts

    By F1Indy
While everyone else at the gym is watching some airheaded show on the big screens, I’m getting my workout while lost in history. My daughter gave me this subscription for Christmas — one of my favorite gifts ever.
  • Better all the time

    By Zippy Magee
I long for when the History Channel had documentaries, and thats what’s in here. I love the content. The app is getting better all the time too. I couldn’t download shows until the last update, thanks for fixing that. Only issue I sometimes see now is the app crashes if you pause a downloaded show. It’s intermittent, but when it happens it forgets where in the show you were. It’s a minor inconvenience. Also, could the app keep track of where I am in a show across devices? I think that should be the next step
