Google Arts & Culture App Reviews

  • Not available in Central Illinois

    By Rodgfam
I was excited to try this photo match and a friend in Kansas can do it but not us in Illinois...hmmmm
  • I live in the 4th largest US city

    By feelthemofugginBERN
I don’t understand why the portrait doppelgänger feature isn’t available for Houstonians. Y’all realize we have two very large art museums here, right? Do better, google.
  • So stupid

    By Agron Alboninja
Live in Chicago and can’t use “is your portrait in a museum” feature. And don’t understand why. Screw google.
  • Not available. BS

    By Nilinx
See above. "Less than an hour from downtown Chicago". Me too. No app feature. Disappointed as well. Waste of time.
  • Selfie feature not available? Say what?

    By vforvixen23
Downloaded app for the “Is your portrait in a museum feature?” But this feature is sadly unavailable tear😢
  • So-so

Okay so I know this app has been the recent hype with the doppelgänger thing and all but I'm not to fond of it. It's not user friendly and you can't navigate it easily. I think the only reason people downloaded it is for the artwork doppelgänger.. but where in the wonderful world is it!? I've looked through everything and just become agitated!
  • Chicago doesn’t have “find your portrait in a museum” feature

    By Gigglea357
I live in Chicago. This app feature doesn’t work here. It’s why I downloaded it. Wasted a lot of time looking for it.
  • Extremely dissapointed - no art selfie for me

By A person in this world
I am an avid art lover and I think it’s so inconsiderate to essentially not include people who aren’t in a “cool” geographical location from the new social media crazed art selfie.
  • Want to find my art doppelgänger, but not available where I am?

    By Deedeekaykay
This app has been a great cultural resource for walking through museums without leaving the house. The frustrating part is the awesome new feature, finding your twin in a painting or piece of art. Everybody else apparently has this feature except for my area of Texas. Stupid.
  • Bait and Switch

    By KmaireJ
No "Is My Portrait in a Galley" feature even though I live in the US. Not wise to bait and switch potential app users - leaves a bad taste.
