Exploding Kittens® App Description

New ways to play! Play with friends or strangers in online play, or play offline with friends face-to-face! Exploding Kittens, the most-funded game in Kickstarter history, is now available for iOS. Created by Elan Lee (Xbox, ARGs), Matthew Inman (The Oatmeal), and Shane Small (Xbox, Marvel). KEY FEATURES: - Exploding Kittens is a multiplayer card game for people who are into kittens and explosions and laser beams and sometimes goats. - Play with 2 to 5 players across multiple phones in the same room, or online with friends or strangers - All art illustrated by The Oatmeal - New cards exclusive to the digital version of Exploding Kittens - The digital version of the most backed game in Kickstarter history In this highly-strategic, kitty-powered version of Russian Roulette, players draw cards until someone draws an Exploding Kitten, at which point they explode, they are dead, and they are out of the game -- unless that player has a Defuse card, which can defuse the Kitten using things like laser pointers, belly rubs, and catnip sandwiches. All of the other cards in the deck are used to move, mitigate, or avoid the Exploding Kittens. Exploding Kittens is a paid app in which optional game features may be purchased with real money. You must be at least 13 years old to download and play. There is also an option to compete online against strangers and resulting data transfer charges may apply. THIS GAME IS FUN AND ADDICTIVE. I WOULD recommend to buy it. I want more packs. I give it a five out of five
  • Addicting

    By Kaitlin awesomeness
This whole thing started when a classmate brought the card game Exploding Kittens to school. We played it and it took a little to get the hang of it but once we did.. we were hooked! This game turns your closest friends on you as you lay the kitten bomb for one unlucky player to draw. Friendships are ruined, trust is broken, and you learn to have a poker face if you want to survive. No joke I bought this app so I could practice over spring break to dominate everyone when we get back! I found the app whilst looking for the card game and was delighted when I found a much cheaper alternative. To summarize, if you want to lose friends, buy this game.
  • Fun and there is strategy

It’s not all luck. There’s a lot to do with psychology and how you think people will play the game. Now, it’s more fun in person because you can see facial expressions, but the ability to make your avatar chat in the game makes up for it a bit.
  • Too hard

If there’s 5 player every game and my win rate is lower than 10%, i think this game is really too difficult for new players.
  • A.I. Cheats

    By JBUG0617
Every time I play against the A.I. He always has defuses skips slaps, and just somehow takes all my good cards. I don’t understand who coded this but it’s supposed to feel like a person is playing you, not a cheating Computer. I hate it when games do this and this one did

Fun game. Would like option of playing with friends without timer so that you can play with friends without timing out.
  • iPhone X/Xr/XS/XS Max update please

    By Peter Palter
This game has the weird screen proportion playing on those phones; some objects e.g. buttons are contact with the lower border, all buttons in the main/first page could be fixed to be smaller, etc.
