Circle with Disney App Reviews

  • Lacks Basic Functions

    By Nnarn
The free side of the app has little to go for it. Only 3 functions that are pretty useless. A "night time" for the wifi for certain people should have been free. The fact that something as basic as that isn't provided is absurd. Although i said he provided functions are useless, that isn't exactly the case. However, the functions could be much better. Also, when choosing devices, device names don't pop up so you have to search through ip's which is tedious and unnecessary.
  • This is why it’s free.

Terrible integration with the Netgear Nighthawk. After I enabled it I began to have problems with a few of my smart home devices. Also, it only transferred a few of my device names. I had to go into every device and create an alias based on MAC address. I finally gave up and disabled it.
  • Absolute trash and here’s why

Listen, I can see how some might like it for parenting usage but in all reality, it is bad. It is easily hacked, kids hate it, and it also doesn’t work all the time. My advice? Don’t buy it.
  • Annoying

My kids just play offline games all the time so I can’t control anything btw I think you you give up on these and go back to making people happy with theme parks

  • Stupid don’t buy

    By BumperFunk89.9
When I bought it for my family, I thought it would be amazing. However after I finish setting it up, it did not even work. So later I just returned it and got my money back.
  • App won’t work

    By clayzee100
Used to work intermittently. Then one day premium features were gone. I paid for annual service... I tried resetting and backing up. Finally deleted the app and redownloaded and now it is locked up. I cannot find an email or phone number on their website to contact support. At this time it’s not functional.
  • Doesn’t do what it advertises

    By Saadeh82
How do I go about getting a refund for a product that doesn’t do what’s advertised. Support is basically nill, just sent to NETGEAR who gave the very helpful “try restarting it”.
  • Amazing from Day 1

I think the bulk of the bad reviews are either from people who are computer illiterate or from teenagers who are upset that their parents are filtering their Wifi. I’ve had Circle for about 2 years now and never have I had a problem. One of my favorite features is how it alerts you if a new device joins your network and will automatically filter it to the “Home” profile. That way, my kids (or their friends) can’t sneak a device into our home WiFi without us knowing. As stated by many other people, Circle is. It a babysitter and does not take the place of teaching your kids how to be responsible it it a very valuable tool to help control what comes into your home.
  • I give time but it doesn’t work
