I will never subscribe! responsive developer
Developers read reviews and respond which deserves an extra star.
I apologize for not addressing developer's response previously.
i have and would gladly pay for sound packs.
Of course the best would be a one time iap for sample import. $10 sounds fair to me.
your sequencer is top notch. clearly people like your work, but dont want to subscribe.
more updates but still not giving people the choice to purchase packs or import samples.
i guess they have enough subscribers theyre not worried about all the negative reviews.
I don’t see what people are complaining about
I look at all of the reviews and they all complain about the subscription. But this app is completely free to use. Besides the sound packs. You can use all of the features without paying a dime. All you need to pay for is the sound packs. Not only is this the easiest to use and the most responsive of all the studio apps I have used before, but it’s completely free. Most of the apps i have seen don’t let you make anything, but instead locking those tools that allow you to actually make music behind a price tag. With not even a chance to feel for what you’re using. But you haven’t done that.
But not only that. Paying $4.99/month doesn’t seem that bad considering the price of each pack you wanted to buy was 4.99 before the update. And with the subscription you get ALL of the sound packs until you cancel. After you cancel you’re back to what you had before that. But i still think the subscription is better. And i don’t even have it! Thank you for creating such a good music studio.
Easy to use music making app
By cool kid 1029
Although it didn’t have the most instruments if you don’t have the subscription, it’s convenient UI makes up for that. it’s vary easy to learn, And Evan the few sounds you get without the subscription are enough to make grate music
Very useful... but limited
I’ve used auxy for a year now, and I only used the limited version because i am never going to pay $5 a month for songs. maybe $5 to unlock all the sounds but never for every month. that’s ridiculous. if i am able to find an app similar to auxy that doesn’t need a monthly payment, i’m getting that. i wish it was less limited because all my songs sound the same.
Super simple and easy to use.
I have used Auxy for a while now and I absolutely love it. It’s an extremely easy to use software and it has plenty of great sounds for subscription. It has all the essentials and basically the best music I’ve made is with Auxy. Instead of trying to continuously add new stuff, auxy tries to simplify the task of creating music. It also adds to the fact that you can make better music when you are using your fingers and directly channeling your ideas into your phone or iPad. Auxy is simply the best mobile music production software out there. I’ve tried a lot of other softwares and somehow the simplicity and neat, organized software works best for me. If your just getting started on music production, then auxy is for you. Then you can move onto DAWs like ableton or fl studio.
I bought Auxy when it was originally a $4.99 buy as a way to mess around with music. It has been quite a while and the app has evolved (apparently it's free now) quite a bit. While I am glad to see the devs progress and profit off of it, I've been upset by the removal of the "Original" sound pack. There were complaints when they opted for a subscription service rather than the purchase of instrument packs, but people were allowed to keep packs they had already bought. I've lost access to the instruments that I originally purchased the app for and it's pretty upsetting to be left with the meager demo sounds. While I am disappointed with the devs decisions, I am nonetheless impressed with the functionality and accessibility the app premiered with and continues to have.
EDIT: I seem to have received an unlimited subscription for free (without notice) I do not know if it is on purpose of the devs, or not, but thanks I guess? [+ one star]
This application was fantastic until the company flipped the script and changed their business model to subscription based.
After having spent money and time on this app I consider this change in business model disguised as financing their “beta” to fund the “subscription” model.
Having encountered these types of business practices with other apps I’m submitting my complaint straight to apple.
Thanks for nothing Auxy
Add the sounds back
To the creators of AUX, please add more sounds since it’s a paid app. Before the update, I was one of the app owners who complained about not having enough sounds. In all fairness, the app upon first release, I had no right to complain, and I realize that, because if I’m not mistaken, the app was free.
But now the app is paid app or something crazy, subscription, and the sound selection is close to minimal. That means, it’s not a substantial sound selection for a paid/ subscription app. I understand you need to make your money, but as a favor for a fan of the app, can you at least give us a option to buy sound banks and add our own sounds. Not sure if you’ve added that option already, but that would be very helpful.
It’s plenty apps that gives you the option to buy sound banks and subscription at the same time. Better yet, cut the subscription all together, make it a paid app, with a zillion sounds. Example, Garage band. I think it would add to the overall of the app. I really enjoyed the app on first release, even though it lacked sounds, but it still was an awesome app. Now with the latest release, it’s not enough sound packs for a basic start on enjoying the app. If you’re doing a subscription, at least give us an option to buy sound packs. Or the option to own the app with buying 99cent sound packs. Trust me, as a avid user of apps and app user In the app community, subscription base wont last long because we like to control our toys, not wait till the developer see fit to let us use it. Thanks
Not a fan.
This app was great and fun to experiment with but the subscriptions aren’t worth what the tool is. It doesn’t make sense I don’t pay apple to use my iPhone or update it with new features. No mobile app besides business class ones are worth a subscription. Sad and super overpriced. I’d pay 5.99 to buy it once but never monthly. Lost another user.
I bought the full version of Auxy back in January and thought I’ve made a grave mistake, but now that I use it everyday, new sound packs are being released regularly, and the new UI is amazing, it has quickly become my favorite app!
