  • Great Game BUT Expensive to Play & Buggy!

    By rapture197
I play on an iPhone 7+ and IPad Air 2 and it’s the first puzzle gem swapping game with true RPG aspects. You collect cards to build decks based on elements: water, earth, fire, light, and dark. You also collect weapon cards to boost your deck. They offer weekly events and guild that keep it interesting. What I don’t like is the HIGH cost to obtain these cards. They use gems 💎 as the currency and when u start u will receive gems but by the time u reach lvl 70 you’ll have completed both campaigns that award you with gems and then you are forced to either spend $30 a month for VIP, or $6 for a 14-day pass. And even with those you still won’t have enough as each week they offer event cards that start at: 300 gems, 700 gems; 1400, 2400, 3400, and 4400. The drop rate for certain cards is only 1% and you’ll end up dropping $40 to just get the basic event card and a weapon all the way up to $200+ to get a few event cards and the weapon. Sure, you do not have to spend a penny, but do not expect to have amazing cards that do a ton of damage and do not expect to place well on the weekly leaderboards either as it can’t happen unless u spend money! This app is super buggy. It will crash mid match and it’s an automatic loss for you, and if you think support will help you, think again. I’ve contacted support many times and they put the blame on you unless it’s been reported by many others. There’s days when my app will crash every 3 mins and days when the video runs so slow that you cannot even play! So as much as I love the complexity of this app it has a ton of problems. Oh and the help guide is SAD! Instead of making a useful page by page guide, they did this long one page that covers very little. You’ll spend hours in the forums because when you join your first guild it won’t have anyone that knows what in the hell is going on and you’ll make the same mistakes we all have.
  • This used to be an amazing game

I have been playing Legendary for about a year now. This game has great artwork and it’s very fun and addictive to play. I have been able to rank very well in the past without ever having spent any money. In the last couple of months the game has been changed so drastically that the only way to play sometimes and definitely the only way to rank well is to spend hundreds to thousands of dollars each week. You can expect that investment to be worth very little to nothing in the game very quickly. If you don’t enjoy spending huge amounts of cash for intangible things that lose their value immediately this game is not for you. I have watched several people lose thousands of dollars to this game and become very upset a short time later when their investment becomes worthless. If you do enjoy giving very large sums of cash each week in exchange for nothing but a decent rank in a game, for a short time, to someone you don’t know that really only cares about your money this would be a 5 star app for you. In response to the developer response: If I could deduct that final star for how excessively bad the customer service is I definitely would. The ridiculously poor customer service is truly legendary.
  • Why make it so complicated that it moves so slowly

    By BigMattStrong
I’m likely giving up on this. This game would be great if it wasn’t for all the pomp and circumstance that takes longer than the actual gameplay.
  • Double edged sword

Both good and BAD... I’d like to say that the game is fun and can be quite addicting to play. Seems to be pretty well thought out, so I give you thumbs up for that. HOWEVER, I would strongly suggest NOT spending your hard earned money. I will admit, It will be very tempting and it will help build your strength in the game by doing so. So if you decide you must, be prepared that if anything happens to “hurt” or slow your progress (and it will!) the support team will do nothing to make it right. After waiting for several days for a response, you will be told “we are unable to assist or process your request, we thank you for your understanding in the matter”. This after you give all the details to make it clear about the problem. They will disregard you and your requests. Clearly not caring about their paying players. So as long as you can accept that... go play and spend money. You’ll also be encouraged to be an “ambassador” which is recruiting other players. In exchange they will give you a 1000 gems for each new player that you invite at the end of the month. Guess again.... they will maybe give you credit for 1 player, no matter how many you invite and they actually play. So good luck.
  • Spend tons of money or stay on the bottom.

The best cards cost a lot of money and there’s never a guarantee on whether or not you’ll get the card! Everything is literally “luck of the draw”. I spent $200 trying for a rare card (which a new one is released EVERY WEEK) and still didn’t get the card that I needed to complete the deck. Great game but not for the competitive unless you are willing to spend a lot of money.
  • Terrible connection

    By DefaultDanTheMagicalMan
I have had a great time playing this game but for some reason I’m not allowed to play because it says I have a bad server/WiFi connection. This isn’t true and I know this because every other game I have that requires an internet connection is fine with my WiFi but for some reason this game is not.
  • Gambler’s addiction, not a game

By dieing for the daily show fix!
The game mechanics that do exist are fun and that is why I gave it a 2 star review. Unfortunately, you can’t do anything in the game without buying their incredibly expensive ‘hero packs’. To get an effective team together, you will have to spend $30/week since there is an event every week. Then, when you buy the packs, you may or may not get the heroes you need. So you are forced to buy more. And as you buy more the price goes up. Finally, the heroes skills often don’t do what they claim. For example, this last light event, the hero’s skill was supposed to get rid of the bosses armor. But there are all kinds of stipulations, so the effect is that the hero doesn’t actually counter and you have to pay more. You have to use a key each battle, which costs real $. And if you happen to get a decent team together, it is a nightmare-ish grind fest to out do the other players who don’t put it down 24/7 and who spend $300/week.
  • Should be better

    By GarryHTx
Game and game mechanics is solid but the game is held back by server lag that the developers seem to be unable to correct. You want a game where it takes 10 minutes to slide one color? This is the game for you. Totally frustrating on a game with potential
