  • App causes MacBook Pro to crash

App causes MacBook Pro restart upon connecting. The support team responded by citing a problem with another company. It is this app Xdisplay that is not working. Please focus on fixing this app. To others using Mac don’t waste your money on this app. Try something else.

Was going to buy another monitor bought thought I’d give this a try. Excellent value and now a connected iPad does everything you ever wished it did. Touch controls and saves downloads to desktop! Excellent,
  • Works, but no pressure sensitivity.

At first wasn’t working correctly on windows 10. Kept disconnecting and reconnecting. Changed to a different USB port (one of the usb 3 ports instead of a 2). Now appears to work fine. Only slightly laggy, but usable. Tested drawing in a few apps. Had high hopes for pressure sensitivity, but no, this only emulates a mouse. So not really useful for pseudo Cintiq like work. Love drawing in Procreate on the iPad Pro, but at some point need to convert those to Blender, Photoshop or other. Guess I’ll have to break down and get a good Cintiq for best direct drawing.
  • Awesome for windows 10.

8/7: So I've been using this app for over a month. I LOVE IT. It's exactly what I needed. No problems using it, and it's pretty easy to set up. Awesome job! I feel bad for Mac users, but if you're a windows user then this app is a must have. Especially if you own a 12.9 ipad. It's about as big as my laptop screen! 7/3: so far so good, would would recommend. Easy to set up, no issues so far.

Works great with surface 4 and my mini ipad. I had to restart before extending desktop would work (would only mirror before that). Great when working remotely to have that 2nd screen.
  • Terrible, possibly harmful

This is the first time I've experienced a full on blue screen crash in Windows in years. Installed the PC agent and the system went berserk, flashing screens in and off, USB connection to the iPad repeatedly disconnected and reconnected, mouse went barely responsive then Windows crashed. Tried to install on my laptop but it wanted a full install of iTunes just to get the Apple drivers. I do NOT want iTunes on my business laptop so the install would not proceed. Deleted. Sure would appreciate a refund. Update. These guys haven’t updated the app in a long time... taking money but no longer providing updates or support. Skip it.
  • Really slow

This implementation is so slow that it is unusable. When I activate Mission Control, macOS just freezes until I disconnect the iPad.
  • Not working on macOS version 10.13.6. Why still selling this?

This is a bad joke... why are you still selling this and why is Apple allowing developers sell apps not compatible with the last few versions of macOS? I want my money back!!!
  • Um no touch screen when inside certain applications. No go for me!

What is this? Either I’m doing something wrong which I’ll gladly change my review if so or this app is garbage. Works amazingly until you load up on application on windows (like studio one or any daw for example) and now all of the sudden the touch screen on the app stops working until you click on windows and out of the application once you click back into the application, no touch on iPad doesn’t even respond. So either this doesn’t work at all or I’m doing something run. Seems like this would be a pretty basic feature. Every other screen app has this.
  • So far, so good...

Was considering the other major player in this field, but it costs $20. For $2.99 I figured it was worth a shot. Seems to work great - somewhat delayed response with my mouse, making it a little clunky to use. Also, the iPad Pro screen is pretty shrunken making it difficult to read/use. I may try messing around with the resolution and settings, but making such adjustments within the app does not seem possible. Based on my experience, this app works for Windows 10 PCs and is definitely worth $2.99 if you are used to working on two monitors....
