Microsoft Translator App Reviews

  • Last update killed the app

    By Mac44a
Just updated the app yesterday, now it no longer translates text from images!
  • Interface

    By Georgeskin
The translations are good, but the interface is slow, clunky, and buggy, and it really takes away from the app.
  • Did not work

    By CozetteB
I tried using the part of the app that translated English and Spanish to test it and it didn’t work at all. It would change the order of the words that I said. For example, I said in English “do you think this app works?” And it said that I said in English “app works do you think this app?”. Don’t even know how that happened but it cleary doesn’t work.
  • Constantly crashing, offline languages rarely work - not an issue on Android

    By JDS10P
The translations are good enough, however it crashes half the time (German-English). With the offline languages, it will ask you to connect online multiple times before finally presenting the translation. Finally, you cannot correct a typo mid sentence, once a single character is typed, the marker will automatically go to the end of the sentence. My friends have these same issues, all on IOS. There was no issue with Android version of this app.

    Love it
  • Disappointing

The iWatch app keeps defaulting to Spanish even though I’ve changed it to French a dozen times. The iWatch app keeps crashing and is unusable in its current state. The iPhone and iPad apps are fantastic. I wish the iWatch app had the same quality.
